XXXIV, I might have to cancel for tonight.
I had another league game schedule for earlier this evening and my game keeps freezing at the start up screen. I've cleaned it 4 times now, and there's no scratches on the disc at all. I'm going to keep trying...
I'll try to message you if I can't make it for sure.

I'll have to pick up another copy tomorrow, if all else fails.

The Ave's and I tried to get our game in tonight, but it was a no-go after five attempts. Kept getting the '"subject to arbitration", followed by "Unable to synchronize" messages and then pretty much a bunch more problems trying to get re-synced.

Anyone else having problems tonight?

I signed on to NFL to make sure I could get a message to you.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I had a game with Squid scheduled for 830 and had to postpone that one also. I'm going to pick up another copy tomorrow during lunch.
If tomorrow night is free for you, we can try and set up a time.

Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Good game Seanmac. Strange goal on my 3rd goal or whatever it was. Conroy's second i think. I didn't want to hold things up by looking at the replay but i am curious what exactly happened. Did he tip it in? Myabe the game summary on the league web page will give some insight. Lots of penalties called on you which kind of sucks. Not sure if they were your own fault but it didn't look like that was the case to me. Every time you seemed to be getting momentum you would get called for a penalty away from the puck. Anyway, since we weren't chatting over live just thought i'd say good game.

Thanks. Sorry I spazzed out towards the end, but just as that fourth goal was going in, my cat jumped through the window with a live mouse in its mouth. I would say it impacted my play just a tad in the last two minutes, as I was trying to save the mouse, not let the mouse get away and salvage some respect on the ice all at the same time. It, ah, didn't go so well.

Sounds like fun  I've been through the cat with mouse game many times before. I don't think i've ever saved the mouse, and i probably don't even want to. Too much potential for problems. My guess is the mouse is doomed by the time the cat sinks a single fang in because of all the bacteria they harbor in their mouths.

Could be. The mouse seemed completely unharmed-he was getting carried in by the scruff of the neck and he certainly seemed to be completely healthy when he was scrabbling away from me. I'm none too happy about the fact of the mouse's existence, but I think the cat brought him in from the neighbor's backyard. In any event, that's where he is now, thanks to a timely intervention.

None which has anything to do with the game we played, which was excellent. You're right, that was an odd third goal. It didn't look like a tip in, more like a soft goal that got in because of the screen.

Hey Mo, the league web site says there are two trades "open". They have been there for a little while and i was wondering what that meants. Perhaps you need to approve them before they can go through? You might want to check on that.

XXXIV, I got your invite with about 4 minutes left in my game with Squid for another league. As soon as I finished and set you the challenge, you logged off.
I'm still around, I know you said you have a football game later on tonight.
Just drop a message here.
I can play tomorrow night around 1030pm EST, if you want.

When I click on 'trades' there are several options to click on to sort trades by ones that are open, accepted, declined, invalidated, etc. The only choice that has trades under it is, like you said, the 'open' category, however, I can't do anything on that screen. There's nothing for me to approve, and there are no trades in the screen that says invalidated. Maybe you have to do something on your end to submit them for approval by me? I don't really know. Does anyone know?

Grog, I have to get a new controller. I think I should have one by Friday. We can maybe set a game up sometime after that.

Any West Coasters having problems connecting to play their games?

I've tried for two nights to get my game in with Rob who's in Phoenix and it gets as far as issuing the challenge, a synchronization screen comes up and then says that it can't synch up at this time.

I can play against other people with no problem - tho I don't know where they are located.

We generally play, or try to play. between 9-9:30PM EST. I'm thinking maybe this is too early and if we try at a later time at night, we'd get a better chance to connect.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
