I noticed you gave a tirade on how Thunder sucked over in our Forums. Would you mind posting some questions for the interview I´m having w/ them?? I know you would have some great questions, please let me know if you have time. I´d like to give him some questions from a real racing fan.

I only expect the truth from you. I appreciate the responses. It doesn´t seem like we have many Thunder fans by the looks of that thread.

If what they are showing on the NASCAR telecasts is any indication of how Thunder will be this year, it will be more of the same. BP loves to make those passes and makes it seem so easy, even when there is contact. Then again maybe NASCAR should check that car they´re using on NBC and TNT!
Why, so NASCAR can turn the other way just as it did with Richard Petty´s illegal engine when Petty won the 1984 Firecracker 400 in front of President Reagan for his milestone 200th victory?

Oh, and we all know that Dale Jr.´s car was 100-percent legal when he won the Pepsi 400 in July 2001 at Daytona, the first race at Daytona since his father was killed. How charming and heartwarming -- yeah, right.
PK,

How true!! I wasn´t a big NASCAR fan back when Petty was winding down, but I sure do remember that Pepsi 400 with Dale Jr. I have never seen a car do what his car did that night, especially when he just took off and flew past those cars to grab the victory. I can´t remember how many cars it was, guessing it was between 4-6.

I love NASCAR, but I still question a good deal of what goes on behind the scenes. Before I start ranting, let me just bring up one point. Why isn´t there a "no tolerance" policy? Even drivers like Dale Jr. and Dale Jarrett have said they believe there should be no tolerance for anything illegal. These guys that have their cars fail inspection and get fines and/or lose points, but still win the race??!! I remember Jeff Burton´s comment about springs and how they can be affected during the race, thus affecting certain measurements. Dale Jarrett´s response was ".....get better springs!" Again, I love NASCAR, but rules need to be set in stone. Could you imagine if this happened in other sports? PK, a big hockey fan......imagine if after a victory by the Sabres they found that the goal posts had been altered between the beginning of the game and the end? How many times do we hear that familiar "clank" when it hits the post. Maybe that "clank" is a goal. Ok, one more. Who can remember the George Brett pine tar fiasco? I being a Yankee fan thought Brett should have been out (which would have ended the game, instead of it being a homerun) as he used an illegal bat (according to the rules). Instead MLB just decided to go back and finish this game with the Royals winning. What was the point of the rule? Bottom line, sports have rules and they should be followed regardless of the situation.

Oh yeah, weren´t we talking about NASCAR Thunder!
