NFL2K3 - How long are your quarters?

Just wondering what settings everyone uses as they try to get realistic stats. I sim the CPU games at 5 minutes, and have been playing 6 minute quarters. I´m starting to wonder if I should bump it up to 7. How many plays should each team get per game?
 
 I played a half with 7 minute quarters and had 20 passes and 14 runs by halftime. That seems to be a little too much, however, I was the Steelers and was playing the Cardinals so I dominated time of possession.
 
 What are you using?

 I´m using six-minute quarters in my Bills´ season. That´s too short, but I don´t have time for longer games.
 
 The average NFL game features around 100-110 plays, from my research and what I´ve read. Play a few games of various quarter lengths and then check the team stats at the end of the game to see how many plays each team ran. When you get to the magic 100-110 number, you´re there!
 
 I think nine- or 10-minute quarters probably would deliver fairly accurate stats.
 
 Anyone else have any ideas?

I am like you PK I don´t have much time to spend on each game. I play with 8 minute quarters, this allows me to get at least 20 rushes and say 25-30 pass attempts, depending on how the game is going of course.

That doesn´t seem like many plays given the quarter length. Do you try to run the play clock down every play? I guess I play pretty quick because I usually get my play off with at least 25 seconds left on the play clock.

 My play-clock management depends on the situation.
 
 In normal play, I usually get the play off with 15 or 20 seconds or so left on the play clock. But I´ll burn most of the play clock when playing with the lead late in the game or when I really need to scan the defense on a key play, determining whether I need to audible or not.

I´m surprised 2K3 doesn´t have an accelerated clock. I always play with that on Madden...tend to get pretty realistic play amounts (about 120-130 per game).

I sim at 5 minutes, and play my games with 9 min qtr. Which allow me my 100-120 plays total which is right about in line with NFL games.

I sim at 5 and play at 8. I´ve been thinking about bumping it up to 9 though....hmmmm.
