The old league is getting nuked regardless of what we decide. At this point, I really want to wait for the new rosters so we can mirror the real teams. We have a week before that happens, which I think will give people plenty of time to actually try a few games online playing on Legend with EQ On. After a week if people like it, we'll do it. If a lot of people hate it, we can turn it off. But after my discussion tonight I don't think comeback code when playing another human player is an issue, but again, I really advise people to try it themselves first.Sudz wrote:so...what do we do? play the old or wait for the new? i'm confused.

I have a opening for 1 player in a tournament I set up "Dogs of War" if anyone has the time to commit your welcome to join. It's short and sweet, 1 game elimination, games need to be played within 3 days. The password is gig. Bill I think a tourney may be a good way to tie us over till next week. How about starting a full tourney?
A tourney isn't a bad idea. Anyway, I'm off to go lab the Legend EQ settings. From what I'm hearing, the quarterback scramble and defensive line moves are both significantly toned down, which is more important to me than the degree to which Randy Moss destroys Mike Rumph.
I'm definitely in for the new league (I'll take the Jets if they come free, but otherwise will stick with Denver).

I'm liking the settings a lot. A lot.
Incidentally, I think we can probably go ahead and turn multiple hot routes on with these settings. With the bad defensive AI, helping the offense any more than necessary would have been really pushing things, but with the better defensive play, it might be nice to throw in the extra flexibility of the multiple hot routes (especially for the Madden players).
I'm good with six minute quarters. I think seven is pushing the amount of time I can put forth at any one sessions.

Well, Spooky has the Jets so unless he is willing to swap with you and take Denver...or willing to go insane and take San Diego or Arizona, I think you're Bronco Bound.seanmac31 wrote:A tourney isn't a bad idea. Maybe I could give him some tips. It pains to watch the Rams lose, even in a video game.
