In my opinion anyone that runs with a non running qb would be considered cheese. I know Gannon has ran in the past, but I doubt they would call qb bootlegs for him now.

How many times did he run with Gannon?

Yea that sucks but at least VC lets you go to the main menu and stay logged in that way you can get some practice/exhibiton game while you wait. All they need to add is an in game save so you can get franchise games in, or at least part of them.

Just once. I was just a bit miffed because it happened in the 4th QTR with 2 minutes to go and down 21 already. I don't mind a QB scrambling to evade the rush, but he simply ran a glorified QB sweep by hitting the R Trigger. The reason I brought it up was to prevent people from taking advantage of this. For me it is one of the biggest gameplay flaws as even the slowest QB can run this and get 5-10 yards easily.

Check out the gamecast of the game and you will see a 21 yard run by Gannon for a TD.

Um...BD...Domanick Davis was a top 5 fantasy back last year in the 2nd half. He had to overtake Stacey Mack before he'd start but once he did he was a badass. Don't hate on Dom.

:D

Guy showed up minute after I posted that.
Very good player.
Had a really fun game.....very close....very stressful

In game save would be nice. I ask again. Is it really that hard to do?

EDIT: Oh yeah Ike Hilliard is out 11 weeks............anyone got an xtra wide out?

Just got my game in and will do a quick write up on the league site. Ugh. I lost a heartbreaker 14-10.

XXXIV I sent you a trade offer. Let's talk. Not for a WR, but hey..

It was, but it also featured one of the best plays I've ever had in ESPN. I ran a 3-wide strong side toss, with Marty Booker coming in motion from the weak side. Thomas Jones gets the ball, and Booker makes an unbelievable block that just takes one of the LBs or safeties completely out. I broke a tackle and it was the back-breaking TD. This online franchise stuff is amazing.

Dan's an odd bird what can I say.

You can see everyone's gamertag inside the game by going to Leagues/My Leagues/NBL/League Lobby

It shows everyone in the league's gamertag and current online status.

If he doesn't play, we'll fill the spot. Don't worry.

I didn't think you could fill slots in the event that someone bails out on the league. How does that work?

Dan said you could drop and add. I dunno myself, I haven't tried it and I dont have admin access to the league. If we cant..we're in trouble.

I believe that's correct about owner changing and was something Sega fixed with the update. Pac mentioned something about it.

For what it's worth, it looks to me like you don't have to play your games in order. If you just move ahead in the schedule to a later week, you can play another opponent, should you not feel like waiting around for that one guy to contact you.

OK I gotta ask. What the hell happened in the GB/Indy game? Manning only threw 5 passes..but had 142 yards? Good gravy that's crazy.

Pretty simple. My corners were nowhere near where he threw it. I have never seen guys as wide open as his got. That coupled with the fact that he had 6 sacks with nary a blitz. I can't tell you how many times I hit the button to throw the ball, watched Favre go through his motion only to seemingly pull the ball back and get sacked because his entire animation wasn't done by the time the defender got there. Not to mention everytime I did get something going, he'd get a pick or a fumble. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

I tell you, Bill. I haven't touched this game since Madden came out and going back to it really shows off its faults. I'd rather have Madden's super dbs any day than what I saw tonight. I mean when you call pass coverage and nobody covers there's got to be something wrong. I loved this game when it first came out, but after playing Madden for the past month, I can't see how you guys can play it. I'll probably go 0-16 in the league because I won't touch it except for league play.

Apparently you need to read PK's little rant about adjusting your coverages according to the formation and personell that the offense uses. You can't just play ESPN like you do Madden...there is a little more involved so you actually feel like you're playing the game. At least that's the way I feel about it. I like Madden too, don't get me wrong...it just seems a little 'dumbed' down to me. Obviously for the mainstream. LOL.
