One thing I really liked off the bat was the response of the outfields seems much much better than previous versions. It's very quick and almost arcadey but I prefer that compared to the slow reaction time in past games.

-My pet peeve for the last 3 years was when a ball is hit into the outfield, the OF would step the opposite way before purusing the ball. It was not realistic and lazy programming. It's still there but not as slow and mechanic as past versions. It's much more quicker now.
You do realize that reaction time and the steps in the wrong direction are all based on the fielders defensive attributes/reaction time/etc. don't you?

no that's bullshit and an excuse for lazy programming. they didnt know how to program realistic OF animations and reactions. No real life MLB OF does this. PCA never steps in the wrong direction when a ball is hit his way. In real life, you never see that.

the other lazy programming they did the last few years was to solve balls hit down the line being only singles. the way they solved this was making the OF throw an errant throw to 2nd. instead of fixing the entire hits down the line they put a bullshit lazy band-aid in. I don't know if that has been fixed or not in 26 yet.

I'm loving the game so far. SDS does such a great job of fixing things without saying much about it, so many improvements I'm seeing after just a few games.

There is no sports sim like The Show, EA isn't even in the same world as SDS as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks again for bringing your masterpiece to Xbox.

maybe this would be true in from 2016 - 2021 . but recently not so much. but i do like this game so far. one thing that is also a big plus is pitching from the streach. it saves so much time esp. playing 3 inning conquest games. I got done playing a 3 inning game in like 10 min.

Guess you've watched about as much baseball as you have hockey. I've spent the last 6 years watching Marcel Ozuna in the outfield (nearly every game when he didn't DH a few years ago) and the missteps outnumber the proper ones. You've made my point.

so you ignore my PCA example and counter with Marcel Ozuna ? Marcel Ozuna!!!!!????   Like one of the worst outfielders in the MLB you're making your argument with???

Sounds like you don't know s*** about baseball and your full of s*** just like sds.

And Missteps? an MLB calibur OF doesnt do the kind of 'MISSTEPS' SDS has in their game. A top OF like PCA doesn't take an overexaggerated misstep IN THE OTHER DIRECTION when going after a ball. NEVER. Even avg OF's don't. Because its bullshit programming.

stick to soccer buddy, flopping on arguments fits your personality.

Your argument was that no real life OF makes a misstep - I gave you one. Not sure where the flip in my argument is? Don't ever defend yourself in trial.

Looks like they removed March To October in 26. Boooooo....

there was no reason to remove this mode. this was a great mode for casual players who didnt want to do a full franchise. it was the closest thing to season mode.

Dude just let or to go…or go make a thread asking if anyone games on the toilet or something. Your act is tired and everyone knows it…except you unfortunately. You’ve made this forum into your own personal blog. Done responding to you.

so why did they get rid of march to october? what excuse now?

aaannnnddd....multiple ppl have thanked me through private messages about my recent contributions to this forum. They've told me how I saved them money or helped them decide on which version of a game for which console. So yeah, the world does not revolve around you. There are other ppl on this forum that find my contribution helpful. go hate on someone else.
