I'm actually doing BAP this year, I haven't tried this mode in years and I'm having a blast.

We won the World Junior Championships (USA) vs Finland, now I'm playing in the OHL on the London Knights. Since Brendan Shanahan is my favorite NHL player, I made up a "son" of his playing on the same OHL team. The mode is laid out really well so far in my opinion.
Hopefully, the Blues draft me.

I ended up playing 4 games last night of "Play Now". Used a mixture of sliders I found on OS, and had a great experience. Yeah, there's still some bad AI CPU offense from time to time that has me shaking my head, but it it didn't ruin my overall enjoyment.

An absolutely terrible offline game if you have any knowledge of or interest in realistic hockey. EA's NHL franchise has been dead for more than 10 years as a single-player experience. playing defense is non existent. the last 2 years your opponent can easily score by shooting from the blue line and the puck finding it's way into the net. it's so cheap and so easy to exploit the game doesn't even feel like hockey.
