Re: Top 50 Games of 2025
Not a big Polygon fan but that list was pretty decent.
Maybe we can combined this thread for everyone's top 5 games they played in 2025.
Here are mine in no particular order.
1. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
2. NCAA 26
3. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
4. Cyber Knight Flashpoint
5. AC Shadows

Re: Top 50 Games of 2025
I only bought two games in 2025. I would rank them as follows:
1.) PGA TOUR 2K25 (XBox Series X)
2.) NASCAR 25 (XBox Series X)
There are clearly the top dogs for me. As for the other games I played on friends consoles, I would rank them as:
3.) NCAA 2026
4.) F1 2025
5.) MLB The Show 25

Going to sound weird but Madden 26 for me is the sports game of the year. The way they changed the gameplay and the excellent presentation and overlays has made it my favorite Madden since Madden 12.

1. Madden 26
2. PGA Tour 2K25
3. Red Dead Redemption Remastered
4. Old School Rally
Madden 26 and PGA Tour 2K25 are by far my most played games this year as I have hundreds of hours poured into each. Hell, PGA 2K25 with my coffee is a morning ritual. It's when I play my DSP Society daily and weekly tourneys.
Madden 26 did something with the last roster update to where changes to depth charts no longer save, forcing you to dl it every time you go online to play H2H. If they don't fix it I'll be shelving the game as it's the only mode I play and I can't bothered to pause the game and muck around with my depth charts every time I want to play lol. But, online h2h is really balanced and there's nothing being done on offense that I can't find a way to counter. Same with exploiting nano blitz packages if idiots decide to try and do that. The get out of it fairly quickly.
Old School Rally is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. One man dev crew and it has an early 90's vibe to it. Very basic, but fun and it's something I pick up and play for short spurts often.
RDR Remastered is just simply amazing, IMO. 'nuff said there
