About damn time. How can you enforce a "lifetime ban" after someone is dead? Their life is over.

I use to be an old time yell at the sky baseball HOF defender but now I've given up.
Let all the steroid guys in too. You already have big papi and Piazza in there who did roids. why leave clemens/bonds/mcgwire out then.
the Baseball HOF has been bastardized this past 10 years. First they let in friends of the owners like Baines, then the stat nerds let in guys who never would have been even considered HOF's like Rolen and Simmons, and now the writers are letting in guys who were nice to them vs those who were not. Baseball writers are probably the most pettiest ppl on the planet.
But this is a good thing for the baseball HOF. The voting is so restricted that the place won't survive if they don't add any new blood there. Guys who I would have laughed at in the past need to go in now like Garvey, Dale Murphy, Bill Bucker, etc... The Hall of Fame now is the Hall of Very Good so just let the very good players in.
