A great cover for the 25 version, all 3 very talented players. Game comes out Oct 4th boys, so Dragons the trial will be probably out a week before then unless there’s a Beta before.

Some of the new skating animations are really eye candy to watch, especially watching Caufield maneuver around the net. Along the skilled based one timers are some of the promising improvements I saw in that video.

All that means f*ck all when EA refuses to work on what's been broken for a decade -- the core, single-player gameplay. Brain-dead AI-controlled players on the human team, CPU players that win every loose-puck battle, etc.

EA clearly hasn't cared about single-player gameplay in this franchise for years, so I guess it's naive for me to expect it now. Still, a fella can dream. This franchise used to be good, back when my kids were in grade school. They're 25, 23 and 19 now.

Has this game been patched since release? It was pure dogsh*t -- yet again -- as a single-player game upon release. Barely recognizable as hockey.

It's been a long while since this series has kept my attention. It ain't perfect, but I'm still having a lot of fun. Maybe my old age is caring less and less about authenticity, but this game scratches my hockey itch. Enjoying the new game tuner that just came out recently. Works well with my sliders.

what happened to this game? it's so terrible! I only played 2 online games but man were they so slow. What's the concensus on 25?

NHL 24 and 25 suck as offline games. Nothing new for EA. I think its last decent offline hockey game was NHL 16.

Pathetic. I've given up on this franchise as a single-player game, which sucks because hockey is my favorite stick-and-ball sport.
