Who's left from Sportsreviewers on here 22 years later?
I realized it would have been sportsreviewers.com's 22nd anniversary.
I see some guys still here from that site - pk500, DB, Tcrouch, Teal, Sudz, and I probably missed some more.
What happened to that one guy who was a race car writer - PK's buddy - I think he was of Thai descent. I wonder what happened to him. If he's doing ok etc..
And who was that guy who went to Iraq and lost a leg? Forgot his name, is he doing ok these days?
WCO81? He still around? People loved to hate him on SR but he seemed like a cool guy.
I think Fletcher (or was it Fletch) was a kid back then. I think I've seen him around a few times here.
There are countless others. I don't remember them all at once.
DSP originals : Is Jared still alive? I haven't seen him post once here since I started checking this site again a few months ago. I remember i beat his ass on NCAA 2004 football SR online league when he was killing everyone else like 45-0. Only loss he suffered that entire year online.

I've only been here 18 years. Lots of guys I miss and lots of laughs when we used to play online. Wish we still did but I can't even think of the last time I played a video game. I retired in December, my hobbies are drinking, golf, pool, beach and drinking. Just bought a 2nd home in Florida to spend winters in and since most of my gaming was done in the cold months who knows.
I check this site still because its like going into my local bar where I know everyone.

I was not on the Sportsreviewers forums…must have came over right after that. I came over from the HighHeatCentral boards way back. And yes we are getting old.

I have vague memories of reading reviews on Sportsreviewers when I was a freshmen in college which would have been 2000. I did not start using the forums until 2004, according to my profile. I rarely lurk here anymore but I'll pop in every once in a while to see what people are talking about. I still play video games but rarely sports games.

I was there for a fairly long stint. Wasn't that the site that featured "Superior Man"? I remember I used to egg on Superior Man, just to see how far out on a limb I could get him to go. At one time, he was hyping up a gaming seminar for adult gamers. He expanded on it to become more of a life coaching seminar, where he was going to teach attendees how to be better fathers, husbands, investors, etc. He maintained the practice of always referring to himself in third person, often wrapping up his post with something like 'Superior Man is a manly man, a compassionate man, and a competitive man.' I wish I had some archives of some of the Superior Man centered threads there.

JLP! Hey how could I forget about you!?!? LOL
I remember I had an ant problem and you gave me good advice back then to fix it. No more ants.
Are you still in PR? Remember we played the s*** out of that Microsoft Baseball game when the Expos played that one year in PR. Those were some fun days!

Still in Puerto Rico!
This is one the first online communities I was a part of. It reassured me I wasn't a crazy person for still loving sports video games during/after college. Most of my friends stopped playing sports games after HS. None of them even liked High Heat Baseball.

I found an old post Superior Man had made after taking over Sportsreviewers.com. This was priceless:
"Being a professional motivational speaker for more than two decades, Superior Man knows what drives people to be their best. He also knows what causes people to sink to the lowest depths of the vast ocean. Superior Man has climbed atop the highest peaks, but he also ventures into the greatest depths of the ocean to scavenge for the lost and needy. While on his latest trip to the Earth’s last unexplored frontier, Superior Man found Sports Reviewers near death, with its soul being eaten by a giant squid. Superior Man is a generous man. He is a positive man. He hates to see anything suffer an agonizing demise. Superior Man approached the owner of this soulless site and asked to take control of it. Superior Man is proud to say, “Victory is his! Victory is his! Glory hallelujah, victory is his!”"

I never figured out who he really was, but it seemed that some had done so. I'm guessing he was from the Atlanta area? He always took pride in taking his beloved Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl in various football games.

Count me amongst the sportsreviewers OGs. I think I joined that site around 2001/02? I was in college then...

I was just thinking about the old SR site last week.
Re: Who's left from Sportsreviewers on here 22 years later?
I was around during the Sports Reviewers days. I didn't post a lot then (or now!) but I loved reading all the posts as it was my first experience with forums. I don't game these days but I still have all my old systems. I've been in this house for 18+ years but I still remember playing online MotoGP in the basement of my old house. I still check these forums a couple of times a week
