Nah, Blizzard has always been good about making their games run on as many systems as possible. That's one of the reasons they sell so many games ... well, that and the fact that their games are fun and addicting.

I agree with Mix, pretty much all of Blizzards games run really smooth maxed out on current to non current computers. I remember when Warcraft III was released. I had a not so current computer at the time. I was able to max out all the graphics settings and the game ran great.
Blizzard hiring console lead designer for Diablo III

Not sure why, but Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition is free right now for Xbox one with Live Gold. It's been that way since I believe Thursday with no indication that it is for a free play weekend. Just do a search for Diablo 3. I'm sure most have played it, but free....for now. It worked for me yesterday.

Something similar happened a few yrs ago with Fallout 4 and every expansion which you could play for free. Microsoft fixed the problem and issued a $10 gift card afterwards. So maybe you guys could get a GC for their screwup.
Diablo II was THE game that got me into playing games other than sports titles. I’m really looking forward to Resurrected dropping in a little bit. While D3 has added some quality of life improvements to the genre, I feel like it’s dumbed it down some, too.
Fingers are crossed that Resurrected holds pretty much close true to form.
Diablo II Resurrected is out...gonna be playing this most of the day. Never played it during its hey day but it appears to be worthy of the hype. Fantastic game so far if you like hack and slash.
I just picked up the standard edition. I forgot to activate the Diablo II punch card before my purchase which would have given me a 4000 points rebate. Oh well, I used my rewards points so the game didn't cost me a cent.
What's funny is all playing D2 Resurrected did for me (or my wife) is make us want to go back and play Diablo 3 again, so we have been.
D2 is so punishing on your time and NOT built for co-op. No personal loot, so if you play with friends who just ninja-grab everything, they pick up all the stuff and you get nothing. Weird difficulty spikes--super easy one second and then insanely tough the next. Inventory management is atrocious (tetris grid for limited stuff WHILE carrying potions and scrolls, even when you get the tomes?!?). Corpse runs when you die, AND it took all of your money that you had on you and your gear....so you have to go right back to what killed you with a second set of crappier gear, or hope to loot your corpse and get back without the screwed inventory making you drop half your stuff.
It just feels like a 20 year old game where quality of life features far surpassed it. I love the character building and how you can actually be unique there, but not at the expense of wasting my time with pointless juggling of inventory items, constant shuffling of potions to belt slots, corpse runs, or inefficiencies in co-op.
We went back to Diablo 3 and were instantly going "this is the best co-op game on Earth" and playing with another couple of friends every night...happily.
