Dolphins 0-1, 15 more to go, tank for Tua. Lose by 49 pts, way to go

Everyone should have a goff!

I dont like Tua at all.
He was beyond horrible in that championship game.

Re: NFL Season 2019
I have never seen him play in a game but supposedly the Dolphins love his game. I've read good things about Justin Herbert from Oregon. NFL people question Tua's size for his style of play.XXXIV wrote:I dont like Tua at all.

You want the Clemson qb. Lawrence.

Re: NFL Season 2019
Hope they can just figure out a way to tank for the next two years and get Lawrence from Clemson. A way more pro-ready qb IMO. Who am I kidding, they are so bad they will be tanking for the next three first round QBs...one of them has to pan out.Rodster wrote:Dolphins 0-1, 15 more to go, tank for Tua. Re: NFL Season 2019
That was too close for comfort for the Hawks at home. See XXXIV, when you told me yesterday that it should be a walk in the park, I didn’t quite respond because they are notorious for their slow start, regardless of the opponent.
In fact, I thought the Bengals were the better team today. I looked at Cinci’s rosters of any key additions and other than the new offensive coach, it has remained literally the same. Is this the same team that played poorly last season?
Their OL and DL kept the Seahawks at bay, in fact R. Wilson didn’t really get a feel of the game until the last quarter. Dalton is playing for a big contract I think this year and along J. Ross they got to the Hawks secondary for the first half of the game.
Clowney played little and rookie Metcalf had a few flashes here and there.
SEA needs to be much better next week.

No doubt about it. He has all the makings of a pure franchise NFL QB.XXXIV wrote:You want the Clemson qb. Lawrence.
I'm going to enjoy watching him beat up Alabama again this year.

Re: NFL Season 2019
Well this didn’t take long. According to CBS Sports, several Dolphins players want out of Miami and have their agents to start working on a trade. Good, let’s just make a horrible team even worse. Can we possibly lose by 50 points every week? Can we possibly go 0-48 in the next three years? I say hell yeah, let’s try to be real good at losing.
It’s all for The Process:
1) Tank for Tua
2) Hope for Herbert
3) Lose for Lawrence.

Re: NFL Season 2019
Guess Brees has still got it. What an incredible game...felt like a week 1 playoff game.
Both defenses were...um...terrible in the last minute. That’s for sure.

Jerry Rice agrees with you ! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jerr ... -the-plan/Danimal wrote:Didn't AB want to go to the Patriots and the Steelers refused to trade him there? Pats are right there to sign him?
Something smells fishy.
I say the NFL should an investigate and if it’s true, they should void his contract and make him play for the Dolphins.
Re: NFL Season 2019
The Raiders can go 1-15, but as long as the "1" is a dominant victory over Denver, with that defense never even sniffing Derek Carr...I'll take it!
Josh Jacobs became the first back since LaDainian Tomlinson (2001) to have over 100 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs in his debut. Under 4.0 ypc (23 carries, 85 yards), but caught the ball well, had great vision, and ran into a lot of stacked fronts when they were trying to run out the clock.
Honestly, I've seen a lot of bad Raider teams. This team has just looked different since the first snaps of training camp. They look, dare I say it, well-coached. Like they know their jobs and don't have horribly busted coverages every other snap on defense, and horrible O-Line play on offense. They're not playoff ready or Super Bowl bound, I don't think, but I already thought they were light-years better than last year. Then everything I see from the media and people "in the know" is that they'll be a dumpster fire.
I was more nervous for that game last night than I've been in years. I was just thinking "what am I missing, here? Are my homer goggles that bad?". I wasn't thinking they were an elite team, but NOT a dumpster fire this year. One game doesn't prove anything (next week with the Chiefs coming to town will help), but they sure as hell don't look like one of the 5 worst teams in the league....low bar, I know.

Re: NFL Season 2019
With all the Raider drama, especially with AB, they are my team to root for this season (except when they play the Chiefs).
I'm using them in Madden as well, which I beat the Broncos but KC killed me.

Re: NFL Season 2019
Same thing happened to me. In my sans-AB franchise, I smoked the Broncos (forced 6 turnovers), but got destroyed by the Chiefs. They were up 27-3 before I really did anything in the 4th quarter.

Rumor: it appears that last yrs first rd pick Minkah Fitzpatrick wants out of Miami. Hopefully Xavien Howard will be next. Let’s just hope GM Grier is consistently good at drafting players because if he isn’t 0-160 is not out of the question.

Re: NFL Season 2019
Just watching the Clemson score and Trevor Lawrence is having a good game so far. However one of the CBS Sports writers made a point that it's a little unfair that he has a bunch of 6-4" receivers. Let's hope he's not another Daunte Culpepper who had Randy Moss just grabbing everything he threw up for grabs cause the Dolphins definitely don't have that in Devante Parker, maybe Preston Williams.
Re: NFL Season 2019
Dolphins 0-2, 14 more to go for the "Tank for Tua" Countdown begins. The Dolphins should seriously consider starting Josh Rosen as in his limited time he put up better numbers than Fitz.....again !
Re: NFL Season 2019
The Dolphins have brought the stench of the nba to the NFL. A disgrace to sports. Time for a draft lottery.
Goff is a piece of s*** yet again this week. Does anyone remember his last good game? I dont. The Rams will regret the money they give this trash for a decade.
Refs screw the Saints again. Unreal!
Donald back in . Brees still out.

Someone define roughing the passer for Me.
Poor Broncos just f***ed up the ass by worst roughing call ever.
Can we challenge that call now?
Cmon assholes who cried like stuck pigs after the NFC championship game last year. Tell me?

TOTALLY agree. That’s wasn’t even close to roughing the passer. Cost Denver the game. Disgusting.XXXIV wrote:Someone define roughing the passer for Me.
