Microsoft Flight Simulator is back this time on the Xbox and PC, sweet. And Project Scarlett is 4 times more powerful than the X1X, launches in 2020. Can’t wait to see how Sony’s PS5 stacks up against this. So MS as expected wants to jump out of the gate first? Sony has been silent on a PS5 release date.
I liked the Forza Lego expansion, but really, unless you're a fan of Japanese stuff (I'm not), the games largely left me flat too. Probably will get the SoD2 expansion. The gears 5 seemed okay. Admittedly missed some of the beginning, so...
Xbox really pushing Game Pass. 4 New games added today, including Metro Exodus and Borderlands with the new DLC. And a lot of the games shown will be playable on day one.
After catching up last night there was so much to like IMO.
Baldur's Gate 3 goers right to my most wanted list.
Cyberpunk looked fantastic.
The Outer Worlds looks interesting.
Dying Light 2 will be good, the first one is seriously underrated.
12 Minutes looks interesting.
I actually liked the look of Minecraft Dungeons looks like a coop Roguelike game.
I've never been a Halo fan but that looked stunning to me.
Elder Ring - From software enough said.
Battle Toads, Crossfire X, Wasteland 3 and all those smaller indie games.
For once it wasn't the same s***, shooter, EA game, another shooter, FIFA, shooter 3, Madden...
Finally the new Xbox sounds really good and with Sony AWOL they are going to get a lot of press coverage.

E3 is getting as stupid as the Oscars and Grammys. Jesus H, Xbox boss Phil Spencer walks on stage to pimp the new Xbox console and gaming lineup and gets a rapturous standing ovation?
I used to enjoy E3. Now it's a giant industry masturbatory exercise more than ever. Just give me the details and f*cking gameplay videos and spare me the two-hour live streams that contain about seven minutes of real meat each.
Plus social media and YouTube have neutered E3. I can remember hanging to every visual on websites and magazines from E3, hopefully getting a glimpse of a cool gameplay video or feature. Now you can get everything from E3 -- and a whole lot that isn't there -- from social media, Twitch, YouTube, etc.
I wonder if gaming companies are really getting solid return on investment from consumers from their lavish presentations at E3. Probably not. But it's one of those industry confab, reach-around events in which major suppliers are entertained and each hardware and software company tries to show it has the biggest erection on the block.

E3 was never a consumer show until a few years ago, You used to have to apply for a badge, back in those days it was meetings an appointments. They have converted it and well it is what it is. Everything being on social media and youtube is great for us but the general vibe hasn't changed in years.
Phil Spencer is getting a lot of love for many reasons, he basically created a first party stable of studios and resurrected the mess they made out of this generation. It may seem stupid to some people but I sure many people would find PR about other event silly as well.
E3 probably won't be around in 5 years time but it's still nice to get a load of information at this time of year.

I watched the abbreviated MS E3 on youtube by Engadget.
Nothing really wow'd me in terms of the new games. No interest in Halo and Gears and the majority of the other games are sci-fi which doesn't appeal to me at all.
Xbox Game Pass continues to impress with new games being added frequently.
The dlc for Forza Horizon looks pretty cool. Can't go wrong with legos....
Speaking of legos, the Lego Star Wars (9 or 10 games) looks like it'll be fun to mess around with.
$180 for the new Elite controller...hard pass.
I think Project Scarlett and the PS5 will have roughly the same specs. I don't believe we'll see much difference in how the games look when compared to one another. I'm sure they'll both produce amazing looking games.
Agree 100 percent on GamePass and the new Elite controller, Dan. One seems to be one of the best bargains in gaming, and the other appears to be one of the larger rip-offs.
I probably buy four or less games per year now because of GamePass and EA Access. Both provide great value and fun for me.

You're in luck they are making it. Plus Matrix (1) was good, John Wick movies are also great. You're getting much more grumpy PK
"The Matrix" was the most overrated movie I've ever seen. Turned it off after an hour, it was so stupid. Never seen a John Wick movie. "Speed" was OK -- cliched as hell but suspenseful.
That said, Reeves was the star of one of my favorite flicks from the 80s -- "River's Edge."
