Now I have had the night to sleep the game off I see it in a much more positive light. As positive as you can see a heart breaking loss.

Proud of the way they came back to tie the game from down 35-14.

The Saints made the plays in the last seven minutes and the Rams did not....Brees was much better than Goff to finish the game.

Happy with the players after the game...All the players said all the right things. Peters taking the blame for the last TD was pretty stand up.

I didnt expect them to have a perfect season and I fully expect a couple more losses with the teams they will face down the stretch. Hopefully not too many and they get a bye and maybe home field through out.

Yeah, that place was rockin', and of course being seated here (turns out my seat was closer to the 40 yard line, booo!):



Made it fun. Surrounded by Saints fans heckling us (because my son-in-law, the die-hard Rams fan, was wearing his bright blue #30 Gurley jersey), only to watch them be silent as the Rams charged back from 35-14. I'll say one thing, I've been to a few stadiums, but I've never heard a place get as loud as the Superdome was. And every commercial break, they play some jazzy tune that every single 'regular' seems to know that means "get up and dance in your seat, high-fiving everybody around you".

Fun place, and that game was entertaining to watch as a fan with no vested interest in either team. I'll have to watch the recorded/condensed version to see some of those plays from TV angles, but some of those throws by both QBs were on the money. I'm not sure at this point whether it was really bad defense (other than a couple of plays where nobody wanted to tackle) or just Brees/Goff hitting small windows repeatedly, but I didn't think I'd enjoy a game with 80 points scored as much as I did.

Was fun, even with the Rams loss. Would do it again!

Also my new lock for worst team in the NFL goes to the Bills. I had the Giants in the #1 spot but after getting an up close look at the Bills, well I see a whole lot of losing on the horizon.

You must not have watched Dolphins/Jets. The Dolphins are terrible but the Jets are miles worse. It's not a good sign when any QB gets handily outplayed by Brock Osweiler. Darnold looked TERRIBLE. USC QBs in the NFL at their finest.

They are in my top 3 but the Bills dominated every statistical category against the Bears. Yardage, first downs, time of possession and lost 41-9 with the Bears offense playing their worst game of the season. You have to be a special kind of bad to lose a game like that.

The defense is decent. But the offense is historically bad. Football Outsiders has produced the DVOA offensive advanced metric for something like 15 years, and FO editor Aaron Schatz said last week the Bills' offense is on track to have the worst DVOA ever.

The Bills have one good offensive player -- Shady McCoy. One. The rest of that offensive lineup is a disgrace. The Bills are guaranteed to lose if the other team scores at least 14 points and doesn't turn over the ball. That's effing depressing.

Thank God Syracuse football is revived this year, at 7-2 and No. 13 in the country. That has salvaged my fall.

The NFL is apparently concerned the Bears could win the division over the Vikings or their pampered d***** bag A-Rod because they just flexed the Bears Minnesota game so that the Bears need to play Sunday night then a mere 85 hours later on Thanksgiving against the Lions. According to reports no team has ever had to play on such a short turn around time. Yay for player safety!
