Both are from Digital Foundry and both are excellent and informative. I'm excited to get my Scorpio on Tuesday. My current Xbox will go to the main room and I am hoping my wife will want to get into gaming a little more now that she will have her own gaming system.

Ditto, so basically it won't be shipped until Thursday at best. That's my guess. If it wasn't for my travels tomorrow, I would have cancelled with them right off the bat. I have this love/hate relationship with them. My gift cards and rewards points is what keeping basically my business with them.

Tough call because the MS store told me that I could pick it up tonight at 9:00 PM.

Well I hope you're wrong as mine still says preparing but also says Get it by Nov. 7th. They could ship it overnight today and I would still get it.

My status from Best Buy is "preparing" but I'm picking mine up most likely this evening. The doors open at 10:30 so I wouldn't have to wait too long.

Planet Earth 2 on 4K blu-ray should be arriving today from Amazon.

I picked up Forza 7 on Saturday, so I am pretty much set. Just have to install my older games.

Unfortunately, I didn't put any of my existing games on an external hard drive, so I'll be hooking up the system this evening and letting them install overnight.

p.s. Once everything is installed, I plan to sell the X system at a loss, then repurchase it on Wednesday, and then maybe flip it for Vita if I'm lucky! I heard them things are really popular now!

Just curious, since I won't be getting an X any time soon (no 4k TVs, nor enough gaming time to devote to justify all the upgrades) one thing i was wondering was if the S is any sort of uipgrade on the original One for 1080p folks?

I know the hardware is a bit better (i think) so performance is better-ish over the One, but is it worth a middle of the road upgrade? I imagine the market will be glutted with S consoles now that the X will soon hit the streets......
