Some of us are awaiting approval.
I'm in this camp, too.
I thought I saw you today, along Leebo and Vader. But since my original query, three more members were added. Wish they could add more than a single admin. :?

Yeah, when I go to Societies, I see DSP Approved, but when I go into the society, I see it still says "cancel pending request"...and when I try to go to the tourney it says I'm not a member. So, not sure what's going on.

Edit: Ahhhh...got it. Just clicked on Join Society again and it put me in the group. So must just be a glitch after it's approved.

Hmmm... I approved yours and it disappeared from the queue after I did so... does it show something like "pending"? Maybe you need to resend it. With the variety of network problems we're having, anything could be going on.

Played two rounds, joined DSP and another Society, rebooted, now can't even get the game to launch......

Uninstalled Steam, TGC2 and reinstalled. Now back up.

I am in now, thanks. I am about to play the tournament.

And...this game is by far the most frustrating game I've ever played. The rolling off the greens is absolutely mind boggling. Maybe it's just me and how I play...it's a travesty to real-life physics. I get a ball on a 2 degree slope that comes right back to me, but a 45 degree slope off the back of the green, the ball stops in the short rough. WTF

I found the same issue with having to click Join again. I got disconnected while butchering my tourney round, 3 foot putts rolling 15 feet by the hole. Also someone need to explain to me how I can hit a better fairway sand shot in real life then in this game. I can't get a club to go more than 90 yards out of the sand.

Haven't seen any of that myself.

Is anyone else having problems changing their default camera views for putting and approach? Everytime I would switch it in the menus it would just go right back to the default. Had to keep clicking the stick to cycle views.
Yes On xbox for me . I posted earlier in the thread about it. Everything just resets to default no change.

Neither. Both over par in that department but if your thinking of buying one version, 2 is far superior as an overall golf experience. You can really take real world golf knowledge into account with this game im really digging it.

Its not a game for graphics its a game for realistic golf its only 2017 you cant have it all

I have some niggles that im going to get to :D but right now just feeling it all out. I was up 'till 11:30 on a work night doing match play against the lad, it was truly a great time and in just one evening justified the price of admission.

I just posted the DSP (PC... about to do the same for the PS4 version) 72 hole tournament for this week at Arctic Fury's first TGC 2 course, Royal Ethalwind. What a piece of work that is... this guy is the Michelangelo of TGC course designers and this one takes advantage of some of the new assets quite well. It runs at over 60 FPS on my PC, yet it seems packed with object detail... unbelievable!

I'm becoming mildly frustrated because I can't figure this game out in spots.

In a fairway bunker or the rough I can't hit a 7 iron more than 90-100 yards. It also always show me pushing way right on the swing meter when I know I'm not. I guarantee I can walk on any course and hit a 7 iron out of either situation farther than that. What am I missing here?

Also I'm not sure why sometime when the swing meter shows me missing right that the ball hooks? This makes no sense to me.

It's hard to get better when you have no idea what you're doing wrong and this is with medium clubs too, I don't even want to look at tour clubs.

JC or Divot any tips on the above.

I can't stay connected to the server long enough with the PS4 version to set up the 72 hole DSP tournament for the next four days... this has been going on for 45 minutes!

Here's a sticky post from the Community Manager for The Golf Club 2 from earlier this evening:

We are making some progress on the servers. We will continue to update everyone. Thanks for hanging in there.
