Re: E3 2017
I found myself agreeing fully. I'd much rather have performance over graphics. I'd love to see developers give console titles graphical options so we have at least a bit of control over the experience we want. I've never walked away from a game due to less that great graphics, but I won't buy a game or continue playing it, if it has frame rate issues or other technical hiccups.

That's where i'm at as well. It's the reason why I bought the PS4 Pro. Hell I still fire up the occasional game like Driver for the original Playstation. So while graphics are nice we're at the point with both the launch PS4 and XONE that they can produce PC like graphics. The target for me is performance and that's where the PS4 Pro comes in with games like Bloodborne. The situation would have been reversed if the X1X was the first out of the gate but it wasn't.
I may still get an X1X if Gamestop will offer a killer trade-in incentive towards the purchase.

Re: E3 2017
Take this with a major grain of salt but I heard an unconfirmed rumor that there will be a trade in offer for the XB1X resulting in $150 off the price. I don't know any of the details but the person who told me used to work for EA and was my main source of rumors back in the day.
That would be an excellent decision if true but honestly this sounds like too smart a move for MS to make.

Re: E3 2017
That wouldn't surprise me as there was a $200 trade-in incentive for the Nintendo Switch. Actually $150 trade-in seems kind of low for a $500 machine but hopefully it will apply to the original XONE. So an X1X for $350 is doable.Danimal wrote:Take this with a major grain of salt but I heard an unconfirmed rumor that there will be a trade in offer for the XB1X resulting in $150 off the price. Re: E3 2017
That would put it on the same price point at the Pro I think. Which also makes me question that it is actually true, but apparently MS has a few surprises when it comes to ordering he said so I guess we will see. Kind of plays into the thing Aristo posted the other day though when mentioning custom X1X's.Rodster wrote:That wouldn't surprise me as there was a $200 trade-in incentive for the Nintendo Switch.
