Happy for the Preds, even the typical end of game gutless s*** by the Ducks couldn't spoil this win.

Great effort from the Sens tonight shutting down Crosby. Anderson was huge especially in the second period stopping #87 twice from point blank. Craig fought adversity the entire year, he was obviously off in game 5 and the home team just came up really strong in the third tonight.

Let's go Sens, should be a great G7.

Hockey fans could not ask for more than a game seven to decide a trip to the finals.

Should be fun.

Great game tonight, who doesn't love a game 7? Well besides the Preds since they don't need them :D

A tight checking game as expected in game 7 between these two teams. I thought the zebras missed a call on Pageau's breakaway towards the end of 40. Way for Stone to keep the play onside trying up the game. OTT seems to be pinching more than the coach may want them to, giving Pens the original lead, it'll be really tight in the third period.

It may go OT even.

Ottawa have to win or the finals will be played as a color clash or with 3rd jerseys.

I'm an Oilers fan that lives in Ottawa, so I will cheer for the Sens but if they win this it almost feels like thievery. It'll be awesome though lol.

Cause, he's changing diapers. Again...Geez, Pens had clear chances in this OT, two by fat Kessel and a missed tap in by Rust.

Bring the second OT.

A soft knuckler that fooled Anderson, not a perfect shot by any means. Gratz to the Pens to make it to the finals again and a great season for the Sens.

What an accomplishment to the Pens for going back to the Stanley Cup final.

This should be an excellent series that just might go 7 games.

That was some shameful officiating in the first period. I am far from being a blame-the-refs type of guy, but that was pretty bad. That offside call was NOT conclusive. And then they missed an obvious elbow from Crosby. I have $$$ on Pitt, so it works for me. I just feel like this series will be a joke and Pitt may sweep. The key for Nashville is Rinne, and he looks like a sieve so far. If he gives up a quick one in the 2nd, I think they pull him.

How do you put your self offside is more to blame here what a pathetic rule and needs to be changed , never mind that the puck changed hands but Pens failed to clear .
1st period was a disgusting display Nhl.

Far from a sweep. Have you watched them at all during these playoffs? They started sweeping the Hawks remember that? They are missing a key guy in R. Johansen and I don't see anyone quitting here. The stupid PK Subban penalty could have cost them late in the third, yet here they are. Rinne is Conn Smythe material but that D is superior to PIT's and will be key in controlling the Pens heavy arsenal. I thought he should have stopped Guentzel's goal though.

Pens are favourites in my book too, but not in a walk.

5 goals on 12 shots, looked like an EASHL game.

First period was nhl officiating at its worst. Way to shine on network television assholes.

NBC...they are beyond obnoxious.

Rinne looked like Conn s*** material tonight. He was pretty crappy in at least one of the Ducks games. Needs to get his head out his ass. He knows it.

Pretty good game again by the rookie Guentzel. I still don't think that Pens have played their best yet but they have something NAS doesn't: Superstars. Preds just can't solve Murray who's been steady like a rock, keeping good control of any rebounds keeping their shots from wide. One small thing NAS has going for them is their strong record at home.

Right now the difference has been one thing--Rinne's .778 save percentage. Nashville has been the significantly better team by nearly every other metric, shots, corsi, scoring chances, high danger scoring chances...whatever you want to say.

Rinne has been the team's achilles heal the last few seasons, but he closed out the regular season this year playing well, and carried it into the playoffs. Now the wheels are coming off towards the end of a long playoff run.

The question is can Nashville keep this up while also getting better goaltending, or have they punched themselves out and are now cracking? They definitely lost their composure in the 3rd period last night.
