Besides E. Karlsson, Anderson has been their most important player during their run. It was nothing boring from OTT's view tonight as they just cruised along. Their forechecking was key tonight with everyone blasting thru the Pens' zone entries. Fleury who's been Un-Fleury like during this run will have to get better.

No way any of that is on Fleury. The only reason he was yanked was to try and stop the Incredible momentum Sens had created.

They don't give up do they? Although fatigue maybe setting in OT, Rinne just saved their bacon a couple of times with the D breaking up. It's a coin toss so far.

I guess Mike Sullivan disagrees with you. While I strongly believe that no matter who starts in goal if the Pens' thin D continues to be soft, the result will be the same. Fleury is ONE of the reasons Pens have gone this far even though they're missing key players and I would have personally left him in goal tonight. He did let in some questionable goals though.

But apparently loyalty gets you nowhere when you want to advance to the finals.

Huge loss for team Underwood as they lost the services of Ryan Johansen yesterday for the remaining playoffs. F. Forsberg will probably move to the middle but those scrappy Ducks look better to advance now.

That line change looked a bit slow to me allowing the Preds to go ahead 2-1. Both teams with great chances, bodies are flying around the crease, its crunching time for both teams. Pure hustle by the Forsberg-Aberg line.

Oh what a time to have a broken stick...A gutsy performance by the Preds, no Johansen, no Fisher while Rinne was a rock.

Why can't the Ducks just accept a loss without the cheap stuff.

Because losing with class isn't in the "code" of hockey. "Must send a message," "show your toughness, boys" and all those other BS tropes are still perpetuated by neanderthals like Carlyle.

They're c***. I tried to tell you earlier in the thread.
They should have skated around like the Sens did i guess and not even try. I swear last nights game was fixed. Disgusting.

Oh Ducks, that sinking feeling. Gratz to NAS for never giving up, just a bunch of hard working plumbers along the skills of Forsberg and solidness of Rinne. Nicely done Peter Laviolette for taking three different teams to the finals.
