Re: RIP Chris Cornell
RIP to one of my favorite front men. Just posted on Facebook earlier this week that Soundgarden was my favorite of the grunge-era bands. And there were few rock singers with better pipes than Cornell.
Godspeed, rocker.
Godspeed, rocker.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell
Cornell and Staley had two of the best singing voices no matter what music genre and now they are both gone. This one hit me pretty hard this morning as I, too, always liked Soundgarden best from the Seattle scene.
I am a patient boy.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell
I will find a quiet moment tonight while working in the media center at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and crank "Rusty Cage" -- my favorite Soundgarden song -- in my earbuds in memory of Cornell.
Rock on.
Rock on.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell
Apparently he struggled with depression for years. His twitter page is full of pics of him doing all kinds of great stuff with his wife and kids. Some people can just hide it and nobody really knows. Life is truly crazy.... he was blessed with this amazing voice that probably took pain away for a few minutes for so many people out there that have crappy lives and he at least could make them forget about their lives in a 3 or 4 minute song or a 2 hour show. To his fans, he had it all but yet was so unhappy that he felt his only way out was to end his life. Hard to understand for sure.pk500 wrote:Suicide. The grunge bookend to Cobain.
