Well he was a terrible human being.
But he donated his brain to science for CTE research.
Who knows if head trauma affected his behavior.

I'm not saying it did in this case.
Remember that there's some belief that Junior Seau committed suicide because of repeated head trauma.
Again, a lot of people who play football for many years don't commit suicide either.
As much as I enjoy watching football, I'm leery about what researchers may find about what the nature of the sport may do to the players.

Know the feeling. My favorite sport is boxing, in which the OBJECTIVE is to inflict a concussion on the opponent. Sometimes I'm torn, but I love the honor and rigor of the sport too much to drop it.
