R.I.H. Aaron Hernandez

Post by sportdan30 »

 Good riddance.

EDIT: I apologize for the lack of decency with this post. In hindsight, I shouldn't have even made it. Prayers to the families effected by Hernandez's actions.

Well he was a terrible human being.

But he donated his brain to science for CTE research.

Who knows if head trauma affected his behavior.

There are many human beings with head trauma who don't commit or order multiple murders.

I'm not saying it did in this case.

Remember that there's some belief that Junior Seau committed suicide because of repeated head trauma.

Again, a lot of people who play football for many years don't commit suicide either.

As much as I enjoy watching football, I'm leery about what researchers may find about what the nature of the sport may do to the players.

Big difference between Junior Seau and Aaron Hernandez. Seau's suicide had elements of tragedy; Hernandez's suicide did not.

Know the feeling. My favorite sport is boxing, in which the OBJECTIVE is to inflict a concussion on the opponent. Sometimes I'm torn, but I love the honor and rigor of the sport too much to drop it. The fighters know the risks, yet another reason I think they're the bravest athletes on Earth and even more worthy of my attention and devotion.

Woah!

Clearly his head injuries started before he had head injuries......The coddling of scum is a step too far...DISGUSTING!

This guy was and is still worthless after its death.

Good riddance to filth only a TRUE piece of s*** could defend.
