You'll need it. :) Dan, I suggest you grab a parachute as your first accessory. :)

Big fun last night, Rob, Terry and Teal. Why? BECAUSE WE WERE MEN.

I also was a man chewing 15 pieces of gum. :)

LMAO

I was already planning my strategy for your wake after you died choking on all that gum. I was just going to slip in after the crowd to surreptitiously drop a piece of Juicy Fruit into the casket.

:D :D :D :D :D

Truth be told, I started to play a bit of NASCAR Heat Evolution after I bid adieu to you cats. I started to doze off, and I literally heard your voice say, "You're going to choke and die on that gum," before I nodded off. I immediately removed the sink stopper-sized wad of gum and put it on the TV table before passing out.

So thank you, Mr. Varak. You saved me. :)

Or as Teal said, "Damn, man, you're really working that gum tonight." Oh, yeah: I was in full Sean Spicer mode.

Last night had it all-little bit of strategy, little bit of "oh, to hell with it, let's just shoot stuff"... Lol. And THC kept a plane in the air for more than 10 seconds! Of course, the takeoff was hilariously brutal, and driving the tank into the tunnel was epic... Lol. Nice to have a full group again. Let's do it again soon.

Odd, but I find the plane easier to fly than the helicopter -- once I bounced it off the rocks on take-off. :)

Wish I stuck around to see the tank enter the tunnel. I'm a dummy.

That game with a full room is a tough act to top.

So many moments, from almost taking Teal's head off with a base jumping almost-boot-to-the-face, to attempting to get a plane airbone directly over the helicopter left in the middle of a runway, to "creative missile evasion", using the chopper and a building to attempt to crash the chopper before the missile hits it, to the cave busting tank, to however-the-hell-we-pulled-it-off Silver Mine interrogation.

The game never ceases to amaze when you have a full group.

And seriously--when you think of gaming as a whole, it's amazing what a transcendent experience it is. And I mean this with absolutely ZERO snarkiness or bullshit to it, but:

"A stoner, an attorney, a redneck farmer, and an autistic nerd get into a helicopter"

...sounds like the opening line of a joke. And yet somehow, at DSP and with GRWL, it all just works

And what's funnier...I figured I'd go in and actually do some stuff with my character to sort of catch up to you guys.

Then I learned why I was so off. I never even did the TUTORIAL with my XBox character!!

I go back and get to Itacua and had to rescue Amaru. Somehow, level 11, collected a bunch of weapons and rebel skills--yet never even started a story mission. Yikes.

Good fun last night, Terry and Teal. Hope I didn't scorch Darren in his maiden trip with us, Terry. Very cool to game with a second generation! :)

Hah--no, he was almost crying he was laughing so hard.

I don't even know what triggered the 'blow each other up with grenades and C4" to end the evening, but I'm not sure I've experienced anything like our "raid the Unidad base until they stop sending more s*** to kill" event.

Image

I couldn't even fit the 5 charred Apache husks, the 10 more vehicles off-camera either down the road or up in the base, or what seemed like 200 Unidad troops we slaughtered on that one.

I could barely breathe for parts of that session last night. Absolute gold.

...but seriously--TWO CHEVRON alert? WTF do we have to do to keep that thing at 4? It was at 4 for a bit, and then it's like they went "nah, this is a bad idea" and started dropping the threat

Darren fights like a MAN. He was scything through some of those Uni-f*cks like Rambo on amphetamines.

I fight like a MAN. But I cower to Darren's level of awesome. He was The Executioner when we laid waste to those tangoes and vehicles in the picture below.

And Darren rescues people and thinks of others, unlike his selfish prick of an old man. :) :) :)

LOL!

You DO realize that if I just go out there and try to heal you while there are still 15 guys shooting at us, it will just end up with two corpses in the same place, right??!

I continue fighting for the team, you bastard!!!

I gotta try to get us out of the s***!

Although, it's funny. Darren is a First Person Shooter-ONLY guy, through and through. He looks down his nose at those peasants playing Third Person games...or anything not named CSGO or Overwatch. I finally got him to at least give Wildlands a try last night, and that session was the perfect setup for him to have a blast and realize there's some fun here to be had.

The beauty of Wildlands is you can just jump into anybody's game whenever you're on, if it's not full. No need to wait for an invite!

I was just co-oping with my son, and then went to eat and came back on. Teal hopped in, then my kid got back on--next, PK was there, and we were a wrecking ball across Libertad for an hour or so.

Unfortunately, with a limit of 4, it doesn't take much to have a full session.

That sh*t was hilarious last night! Paul was chattier than usual (must've been the lack of 25 pieces of gum), and it was laugh out loud funny. Taking on unidad until they waived the white flag was awesome. The street looked like the road to Baghdad during the second gulf war... Lol. That was another fun filled night, fellers!
