Or it is the new stuff and they were bombarded with comments about how it looked the same and they realized they have some work to do to get it better.

Yeah, I guess I can't rule that out either. I do remember them showing video of what they called "TGC 2" gameplay. The only thing it had different graphically from the current game was water at different levels and waterfalls. It looked almost the same as what was shown in this video that Maximum Games published last week.

Another clue that the video shown as Pre-Alpha was the golfer animations are clearly last-gen. The new mo-capped model swing animations have been shown in wireframe, and they are a lot more fluid and lifelike than what is shown here.

Agreed. The thumbnail of the video does have, what looks like, one of the new player models. I could be wrong. I love seeing info on the new game but I wouldn't show s*** until the new stuff (models and animations) was in the game.

I just saw this on Twitter… Looks like the first real screen of the new player models on The Golf Club 2. It was TGC's official Twitter feed so its legit. Looks pretty good. I'd love to see it in motion.

Two more screenshots. They released one screenshot each of the last three days, hopefully getting close to a video and specific release date.

Hopefully it doesn't chug at 20 frames a second like TGC 1 did on Xbox at times!@

Day One purchase for me. I've had more fun and played more rounds with TGC on the XB1 than any console golf game since the original Hot Shots Golf.

HB Studios has finally posted a video of some game action (a hole in one) from TGC 2. Note that this is a replay of a shot, not fully typical of what you see in a live shot. Looks like we may be getting another video shortly, based on what the producer posted in another thread.

When you play a course with soft greens in The Golf Club 2, they're truly going to be "soft". They seem to be the least favorite among the designers however.

It's at least 6 or 7 weeks away, I'd guess, but it's really going to be a step up from TGC 1, which wasn't a bad game in itself.

Day One purchase. Thanks. I've enjoyed The Golf Club more than any golf game since Hot Shots Golf and Links 2003.

We will need a DSP society for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
