Running 10 miles, sitting down with a couple Pineapple Sculpins from Ballast Point, and then trying to play this doesn't make for a good recipe.

So far i only see Dchaps, me, and Vadar on the board, so maybe the friends list has something to do with it?

I certainly don't see Teal or 34
I don't see Teal or 34 either, I think if you re-start, it removes your previous stage times. Don't know if that is what has happened with them, just guessing. 34 is already in the League roster. but Teal may need to go to the link below and sign up.

Sign up for the league here if you have not already:

We've got four who have completed the Rally Sweden. You have until 3:00am EDT, so basically 14 more hours. It takes approximately 30 minutes. See if you can break 30 min, I missed it by 1 second.

Sorry I didn't participate. Just busy as hell now with work, kid activities, the two bands for which I sing, etc.

Plus I have taken a bit of a self-imposed break from gaming. I played various titles on my XB1 for two hours or more almost every night from Oct. 1-Dec. 15 last year (seriously), and I reached peak gaming burnout. I have loved this hobby since the early 1980s, and I don't want to lose my zeal for it. Gaming started to feel like a required ritual rather than a pleasure, so I have cut back to pretty much Division and Siege nights with buddies since New Year's.

I'm sure I'll be back into the regular digital saddle next month upon the release of Ghost Recon Wildlands. :)

Wow, that was close with db and jimmy! Well done boys, this was good fun. This game is so good. Impressive as usual Terry! Thanks to everyone who participated. Paul, join us when you can and are feeling up for it. I took about a 3 month break back in the fall, although not entirely on purpose.

I wish I could do the rally over again. Too much rust, not enough patience, and too many spin jobs cost me too much time. Lol.

But watching some WRC on the Red Bull App has me itching for Dirt Rally again, so I am going to try to get into it more often. Though, sort of like Paul, for one reason or another I can probably say I've averaged one or maybe hours on the xbox a week in the past month or two.

And I'm sure it's only going to get worse in a few months, as we are being stupid enough to have kid #2, lol. And another girl to boot. Sigh, maybe the cats will watch racing with me! :P

Congrats! Have one more after this, and you can switch from man-to-man to a 2-3 zone like in our household. Then again, our kids are 18, 16 and 12 - past the high-maintenance stage and more into the "let's mind-f*ck our parents" psychological phase. :)

DSP DiRT Rally 2017 - Rallye Monte-Carlo

This rally starts this evening Monday Feb. 13, 2017 at 9:00pm Eastern Daylight Savings time and ends at 3:00 am Eastern Daylight Savings next Monday Feb. 20, 2017. However, it is going to appear that it is available until 7:00pm on Monday. So, it is by DSP gentleman's agreement that I ask that no one posts any times after Monday morning 3:00am EDT for the previous weeks rally. This will hopefully give me time to screenshot all the results and stages and then put the times into Excel or Google Sheets. Feel free to use whatever assists you want. However, it would be helpful for everyone to post what settings they are using, controller preference, FFB settings. Anything that would be worth sharing.

Vehicles: 1970's (RWD)

Use any one that you like.

From the excellent DiRT Rally Car Comparison Guide:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =462311586
03:51.174 - Opel Kadett GT/E 16v (Gears 12fR / H-shifter / 900°) ★★★☆☆
03:52.340 - Lancia Stratos (Gears 16fR / H-shifter / 900°) ★★★★★
03:53.124 - Fiat 131 Abarth (Gears 8fR / H-shifter / 1080°) ★★★☆☆
03:54.923 - Ford Escort Mk II (Gears 16fR / H-shifter / 900°) ★★★★☆

RWD is a huge step up in difficulty after the 1960's FWD cars but trust me this is where the fun starts. General rule when driving RWD vehicles is that you should control your turn and drift with the throttle. Handbrake is not needed at all, proper weight shifting before the turn can set up the car perfectly. Driving RWD cars might seem intimidating at first but stick with it and you'll get to love them. This is some proper old school rallying! Luckily the cars in this class offer a good variety so everyone can find the right choice. Keep in mind that if you manage to tame these beasts then the rest will seem less challenging.

1 Monaco, Gordolon - Courte montée (S) Midday / Sunny

3 Monaco, Col de Turini - Départ en descente (S) Afternoon / Mist

Rallye Monte-Carlo - 2017 Final Results
http://www.wrc.com/en/wrc/results/monte ... 26---.html
- Rallye Monte-Carlo is the WRC’s jewel in the crown and the oldest in the calendar.

-First run in 1911, it was designed to promote Monte-Carlo as a tourist destination, with competitors starting from different European cities before gathering in Monaco.

-Essentially an asphalt rally but unpredictable mountain weather brings varied conditions.

-Competitors must expect snow, ice and dry asphalt - often encountering all in the same stage.

-Sunday’s finale, as is traditional, runs in the Alpes Maritimes mountains above the Principality and features two passes over the legendary Col de Turini.

-Col de Turini. One of the sport’s iconic locations, where enormous crowds will gather to watch competitors cross the mountain summit in the La Bollene Vesubie – Peira Cava test in the final leg. An incredible atmosphere and a ‘must-do’ for visitors.

Don't forget I have it setup to allow for event restarts in case of a complete retirement. :) I can't help but pick the Stratos, but man that car is impossible to manage on the ice.

Nice job Gangrel, I am going to have a go out it later on tonight in the Stratos. I hate hairpins and I have never mastered the hand brake, so yeah I have a love/hate relationship with Monte Carlo.

PS - Just to encourage more participation, if anyone who is PS4 only or PC only wants to setup a League Event with the exact same specifications as posted for this week, I will try to combine them into one master results list. Just don't run the event on more than one platform. It would be awesome if Dirt 4 would allow for cross-platform leagues.
