Put a few hours into the campaign and about an hour into MP so far and...I'm really not loving the changes from the first game. I played well over 100 hours of the first game and loved it dearly. I just feel like the balance is all off in mp, and the "amped up" vibe took an already frenetic game and just made it ridiculous.

The single player campaign made me rage quit after about the 4th section of light platforming nonsense. We get it. You can wall run.

Out of loyalty to the original, I'll give this an honest shot in MP, but my initial exposure has left me quite disappointed.

Don't send me to HUAC yet. I'm going to give it a nice long run out before I do anything rash. Titanfall is the only shooter I've ever loved well enough to play through the Prestige rankings, so I feel I owe it a fair hearing.

Good man!

I liked the first game quite a bit, too. But I just kept telling myself this is more of a different game than a sequel. The balance and mechanics are different, unlike the various iterations of Halo. Once I accepted that, I appreciated TF 2 much more.

I picked it up last week from Amazon for $30.

I've played the singleplayer for 2+ hours so far and it is really fun. Challenging to boot on the normal level as I have died quite often.

Maybe one night I'll give multiplayer a go. I haven't played a multiplayer game on Live in ages so need to get back in the saddle soon.

I was a big fan of Armored Core back in the PS1/PS2 days. Not nearly as much customization here but the gameplay is much more sublime :)

Yeah I saw that. Ive been too busy with BF1 to play TF2 of late. Both are damn good shooters. Not enough time in the day!

Deals with gold had this one at 30 bones, so I snagged it this morning. Anyone still running this one?

Yeah, it's still on my rotation list among BF1 and Infinite warfare among FPS. Particularly Bounty Hunt and Amped are the modes I played the most.

Yes, sir! I like Attrition and Amped Hardpoint. Part of my regular rotation of shooters.

Enjoy TF2! Great, underrated game.

I still play it also. The single player is short but superb.
