I hooked up with Diablo earlier to play some Droid runs in anticipation of Bespin tomorrow. If anyone wants to play a couple of rounds later on tonight say around 10 PM EST to sharpen your blasters, we'll be there. Doesn't matter which mode.

Maps look incredible, 'Sabotage' is crazy fun and one of these maps has so many doors to open that you just get lost during all the craziness.

6 GB update, I won't be able to check it out until tomorrow night. Really wish my Xbox would download the game updates automatically when I'm at work since I have it set to automatically download game updates.

I'm extremely disappointed that the only non-dogfighting mode is Blast. Not even one type of objective mode? No heroes vs. villains? Am I not seeing something? The map looks fantastic to this old Star Wars geek whose seen the first movie countless times. But cmon.

Yeah, too much flying around to be honest. I expected something more like Droid run, and a couple of more Rebels vs Imperials with some kind of objective. I'll be voicing my frustration, usually if there's enough people complaining they may end up adding some stuff. Having said that Battlestation has that 3D look, it just looks amazing. Once the novelty wears off with Death Star, I'll be going back to Bespin.

Well, now that I've actually made it trough all three rounds in the new Battle Station mode, I'm a bit happier. The middle section of that mode is an objective one on the Death Star map and it's pretty fun, although it is very densely focused with only the one objective.

And the final stage is the trench run, which I didn't conpletely grasp (which trench?) but it is pretty cool. Although, the one time we made it through all three stages, my rebel team blew up the Death Star, complete with the cut scene shots of the torpedoes making that magical right angle turn down into the exhaust port, and the Death Star blowing up, and it said "Defeat" and we lost. Weird.

I still think they need to add more modes and I'm also surprised and disapppinted that there is only the one actual map, but the one new mode is pretty cool and the new weapons, gadgets and heroes aren't bad either.
