Sometimes, I really hate browsing thru this site. I do. I am now tempted and you know what's next. The 4K TV that I always told myself, next year, next year...Because other than the smaller size, there's no point really, correct? And here I told myself to wait for the Scorpion.

Part of my rationalization for the Slim was that by the time Scorpio is released I probably couldn't get anything for my Day One XB1, but the Slim may be subject to another trade up.

As I'm literally going to best buy in the morning to get a new TV for my office I'm remodeling. Lol. Waiting for technology is a lose lose situation. When you want something...buy it. There's always going to be something on the other side of the hill.

That's a typical GS, suck deal but when I went in during the recent trade in deal, they are only offering $100 for a XONE. So it looks like you're getting $25 more for the 1TB drive.

I've decided to skip the Xbox S and wait for the Scorpio or whatever MS decides to name it.

Too late to matter, but the promotion SHOULD have been 150 towards the S, although it's certainly possible that your GS wasn't honoring it.

Like Rod said, my 500GB trade only rang up at 100, but the employee did an override as part of the promo.

I'll recommend Forza 6 over F1 2016 unless you're an F1 fan. F1 2016 features only ... F1. Current cars, current tracks. Great game with a lovely handling model and super graphics.

But Forza 6 offers a far deeper, more varied car experience, with many more modes of play both online and offline. And the car and track selection is far bigger in Forza 6. Plus you probably can find Forza 6 for less than its original $60 retail price. F1 2016 is a new game -- very unlikely you'll find it on sale for at least a few weeks.

Forza Horizon 3 is coming out very soon. A very fun mix of car culture, music and driving, especially if you've never played a Horizon game.

Ryse is pretty. But it's repetitive as hell. Hack-and-slash button masher. I would avoid.

Sunset Overdrive is one funky, fun XB1 exclusive. It's a mix of a shooter, Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Jet Grind Radio. Irreverent and fun. Only $20 new since it's about 2 years old.

Titanfall is a f*cking great mech combat game that's an XB1 exclusive. Still plenty of online players, but they may disappear when Titanfall 2 is released in November. You can buy Titanfall new for $20 or less.

My eyes are on the Forza Motorsport. By year's end if Santa is good. Also was checking the BB online and I didn't see your wheel on sale. In any case, based on what the English lad was saying last night, I'll end up with the original TMX with the 2 pedals, although there's a Pro version too now with 3. More expensive of course.

I'm so tempted to do this. I just like how the S looks. I like it has no brick. I have the XBO in my bedroom and with the original model, if you put it on standby, that brick makes that buzzing sound. I got so annoyed with it I had to put my XBO in off mode.

I take it with no brick you don't get that buzzing sound with the S when it's on standby mode?

I have the same issue w/ the OG XB1 (the buzzing)...another one of the reasons I got an S and hand-me-downed my OG to my little poor and broke brother, lol. Plus I completely re-did my office and put all the power cables in conduit behind the walls, so it's clean as hell. Couldn't do that with the original XB1 for sure.
