First blood Penguins.

Rust with the dunk.

Pens again right away Dragon style Sheary off of a great Crosby play.

Looking good after the Pens.

San Jose had some problems adjusting to the Pens speed and M. Jones was big for them making key saves that kept the game respectable especially during the first half of the game. M. Murray was equally good when the host team run into penalty problems and you just don't want to give this Sharks team, the man advantage.

Three goals from three different lines shows you that PIT is a very balanced team, a team that has depth. Their worry is the status of B. Rust who's been playing great hockey for them and may be missing the next game.

Pens dominate the shots in the first for the third straight game but after the Sharks scored the equalizer they did look like they got their heads out of their asses earlier this game.

Looked a lot more energized and dangerous by the end of the period than the Pens.

Maybe next game they will start playing at the opening face off?

For the Sharks to keep their momentum going, they must score first. You just can't play catch up with the high tempo game that the Pens bring to you. Even with the Cullen line, SJ always seemed to be a step behind the Pens fourth line. They were fortunate to win it in OT last Saturday thanks to a brain cramp by Letang in the third period, and they need to keep shooting at Murray since he plays so deep in net.

We'll see if Deboer keeps shuffling his lines, but they did see some light at the end of the tunnel when they shorten their bench to nine forwards. Risk is, PIT keeps rolling with 4 lines and that may take a toll later on for SJ. They do miss Hertl.

Still paging E. Malkin.

Does not anyone tell the Sharks what time the games start?

Or are they too old?

Or just too lazy?

Or they have a plan like Ali to wear out Frazier?

What?

Yeah, tough rebound for Jones to give up but that was a good in transition play that caught SJ's line change a bit off. Surprising goal because I thought Sharks started really strong and took over the first 10 minutes and since the goal, Pens started to play better.

The Pens just have one hell of a transition game. I think the Blues would have matched up well.. would of, could of!

I thought E. Malkin finally elevated his game in this series, he was just dominant with the puck. P. Kessel also has been very consistent throughout these playoffs, he just seems like a totally different player playing behind stars like Crosby and Malkin, while he was always under the microscope in Toronto.

M. Murray is a great story for PIT, he just seems to be in total control.

SJ just needs to keep plugging away. They started well in this game and inexplicably stop skating when Cole scored the first goal. They just can't seem to sustain any good momentum in the offensive zone.

And little Joe, where are you? No points so far, they need him to step it up.
