Sure many may not like the one shot, one kill mentality but it's Rsinbow Six right? A slower pace, definitely more strategic shooter than the current ones, but one intense, satisfying experience when it's played with the right crowd.
Thank you! This is actually probably my GOTY. It is literally everything that DSP would have DIED FOR like 5-7 years ago. Still surprised it didn't get any attention here.
I picked up Siege last week. It feels just like the good times from the Rainbow Six games.
We have a nice group of four playing, starting with terrorist hunts. If you guys still have it, your welcome to join the fun.

Still the most underrated game at DSP in a LONG time.

Vegas or Siege?

We are talking Siege Bro. You only need 3-4 dudes on a mission, heck even 2 would do. No shooter matches the intensity and calculated risks on this one. So good that I rebought the game.
(Teal, I will send you the code this weekend as I am out of town)
Damn. I need to grab this the next time it's $25-30. It always has intrigued me due to its reputation for tactics and teamwork. But I just couldn't pull the trigger at full price or even a slight discount, no pun intended.
I'll get this soon. Hope it's still active at DSP.

RB6 Siege is $30 this weekend at Bestbuy ($24 w GCU).

Anyone want to play some tonight before NHL?
Oh, baby. Thanks for the tip! I'm GCU, too!
I'm teetering ... Just bought myself some nice Audio-Technica headphones for a 51st birthday present, and you know how tough it is for me to pry open my money clip. But still ...

So far Siege has got NO play at all here at DSP. Maybe that could change?

Which ones did you buy? AT makes some great products. I use the MSR7s for music most of the time, and some M50s for gaming.

No promises, but beginning in a couple of weeks I should have time to get back into more regular online gaming until sometime in mid-July, so maybe this is a game I'd try to get into with a DSP group. However, I also might want to try to get some F1 sessions put together, finally put some group time into The Division (haven't touched it since the first couple of weeks), team up with friends in Battlefront, and heck, I'd even want to try to get a group going in Evolve for those who still have it, or back-combat L4D2, so . . . . But yeah, I'm intrigued and if we could get some groups together I think I would really like this game.

ATH-M40X.
I know everyone raves about the M50Xs, but I like my sound completely flat. I don't want any bass or treble added, no V-shaped sound. I want to hear the music exactly as it was recorded and produced -- a true studio monitor headphone.
Nearly all reviews I read indicated the M40X has the most flat sound in the MxxX line, and my ears detected the same. Got them today, and I'm in LOVE.
P.S.: If you're in the market for cans via mail order, check out this Soundcloud page. An audiophile posted an identical classical music clip as heard through about 25 of the leading high-fi cans on the market. Really helped me determine the M40X was right for me. Also showed me just how overrated and overpriced Beats are for anything other than hip-hop and some EDM. WAY too much artificial bass. Lousy cans for rock, jazz and progressive house, my favorite genres.

The 40X is great for a flat sound at a great price. The MSR7 is essentially very similar, just quite a bit more expensive, so you made a good choice. And yeah, I use the 50s for gaming, BECAUSE of the added bass. Better for explosions...since my office is next to my son's room. LOL.
Sources: FIFA 17 Begins EA Sports’ Full Transition To Frostbite Engine
After a disastrous transition to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, EA Sports made it a priority to move into the PS4/Xbox One era armed with a new engine, dubbed Ignite. When it was announced in 2013, EA touted the engine’s superior artificial intelligence, improved animations, biomechanical physics, crowd technology, and flexible toolset that would greater enable its sports teams to share technology between the brands. The conversion to the new platforms went well save for NHL 15’s bungled launch, but now EA is making another change to its sports label.
Multiple sources tell us that the FIFA, Madden, NHL, and NBA Live sports game will be transitioned to DICE’s Frostbite engine over the course of the next few years. Frostbite is currently being used to power the vast majority of EA’s larger game catalog, including the Battlefield, Star Wars: Battlefront, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Need For Speed, and Mirror’s Edge franchises. The next major sports game to make the leap to the new technology is FIFA 17. While Madden NFL 17. NHL 17, and NBA Live 17 are still using the Ignite engine, each is expected to convert in the near future.
I'm not happy at all with the kinect, Sudz even sent me a new one and that one is doing the same thing where it shuts off and I cannot control my TV or anything without doing a hard reboot.
When this XB1 dies or I'm in the market for another console, I think I'll go the Sony route. I know the kinect is a gimmick, so to speak.. but I got used to it controlling our entertainment system.

Never liked it since day one. I understand it can work wonders in simplicity when the voice commands works but the only command it recognizes in my house is 'Xbox turn off' and even then it's failed to do so lately.
And with the latest beta dashboard preview, the 'Cortana' message comes up here and there, even though we didn't ask Kinect for anything and Cortana is not even available yet in Canada.
