Team Canada is Golden in Russia at the WHC in consecutive years beating team Finland 2-0. Russia gets the Bronze. P. Laine who many predicts will get picked at the #2 spot in this years' draft was the MVP. It's a giant leap that the Fins have taken in the past 5 years or so considering their small population. Two of the top three draft picks this year are from Finland and ready to make a difference in the NHL.

Population difference like the one between Canada and the US? 8)

Beautiful colors ain't it XXXIV?

Yet another OT coming up in PITT. The triplets are so skilled, add some speed and they are deadly. Maybe Fleury should have controlled his rebound better but they managed to tie it up after screwing up their long man advantage.

Time for Crosby and Hornqvist to stop feuding and get the important fifth game.

No matter what, it will be a quick decision.

Will the Blues prove the doubters wrong and win a game 5....in their home arena???

Gotta score first.

Who is out...Fabbri or Backes or could they both be in? Upshall is out for tonight.

Bring that same intensity they did in game 4, and the Scottrade Center should be rocking!

Just got 4 tickets for tonight's game! Never been to a playoff hockey game before. Traffic is going to be a nightmare with the Cubs in town as well.

Blues are procrastinators but it's time for them to have a good start at home. I've got total confidence in my boys. I still don't think anybody can beat them in a 7 game series...but i'm sick of having to go 7 games to find out!

From a neutral point of view that was one heck of a game 5 to watch. At the beginning of the series, I mentioned that home advantage would have little influence to both teams and tonight was another example.

SJ has been so resilient after they lose a game during these playoffs, they just seem to be prepared for the next one. Special teams were deadly again for them, the Joes, including Joel Ward.

Now if you're a Blues fan, who do you start next game? I wasn't a fan of Elliot being replaced on game 4 even though it worked for St Louis. One thing is to pull him mid way of the third period on game three but to not even play him the next game? Was he the culprit for the Blues for being down 1-2 then?

I don't think so. In fact he was the reason that got them this far.

Look at the Pens. Why change Murray for Fleury? Yet they face elimination.

But coach Hitch has a funny way of motivating his boys. Stick with Elliot, don't play mind games. Tarasenko needs to be more active.

The final score of course doesn't reflect what happened on the ice, but Sharks looked good.

I go with Elliott in Game 6, Allen was shaky tonight and I thought would be pulled at some point. I'm not saying they were all his fault, but a couple were soft. Elliott can handle the pressure of an elimination game in a hostile environment.

Tarasenko is either hurt or the playoffs have taken a toll on him. I think he had 1 or 2 shots on goal tonight.

I still say this series goes 7 games just like the previous two series. Apparently home ice has no advantage in hockey.

I counted only one, and it wasn't until the third period. He's got to elevate his game somehow, somewhere. It's probably his newborn, not enough sleep.

Hitch has to go with Elliot. The Blues desperately need someone who can shut down the SJ power play when the Blues take dumb penalties. After watching Allen up close last night, he simply allows far too many shots to go off his pads, where Elliot would cover most of them up and force a face off.

I don't think Tarasenko is hurt or is tired. Well, ok everyone is tired at this point. I just think the Sharks are playing incredibly good defense on him, and not letting him beat them.

Letting in that goal at the end of the second period to tie the game really seemed to take some energy out of the team. Hats off to the Sharks for continuing to fight when they get down a goal. They really seem to put it in an extra gear.

No predictions for game 6, but it would be nice if the Blues can score first.......

You can tell when Sid is on his game. He's a fantastic skater, Malkin is doing his job too but most importantly for the Pens, the D is holding up so far despite the absence of T. Daley whom they really missed last game. It adds a lot of pressure to K. Letang but guys like Lovejoy have stepped up so far, not to mention that they've limited the Bolts' shots from the outside keeping things easy for Murray.
