You get the speed and thrill of the Eastern conference finals with the physical, grind of the Western teams. Bolts have really surprised the heck out of me and you gotta give all the credit to the coach in reassigning new roles to his players. Not having two of the best players in the team would hurt anyone, but that shows the depth they have. Even without Stralman, their D is underrated. Victor Hedman is Norris material in my mind, and was key in shutting down J. Tavares and the Isles.

Pens have been streaking since the last 2 weeks of the regular season. Solid, a great transition game at full speed. The team has been off the charts since the coaching change. The question for them is whether M.Murray can continue to shine.

Not many people gave the Sharks 2 cents, but I've been saying this the whole season. They are a different bunch. They were the team that no one wanted to face in the playoffs and here they are.

They added a lot of youth and J. Pavelski has been a monster along another Norris candidate in Brent Burns. This guy is big, this guy can skate. The older guys (Thornton, Marleau) have taken a supporting casting role for the younger guys and it has paid off. They just dominated in G7 against the Preds. Martin Jones, a BC dude in my neck of the woods is one helluva of puck stopper.

Blues just need to play their physical game, be more consistent in that department. Pietrangelo has been huge and R. Fabbri is a the real deal. Really close conference finals.

It's a coin toss for me, although I picked the Pens to win it all.

I think hockey is the only sport where the pundits can remark that Tampa has cruised through the first two series , yet as a Bolts fan I was on edge ,every game of both series expect the last game. Happy to get this far and hopefully we can hang long enough to get Stamkos and Stralman back. Have the Blues or the Sharks won a Stanley Cup ? In any event good luck DSPer's fans of all teams. Bolts and Pens start it off tonight.
Gallon of Capt. Morgan : check
12 pack Coke : check
Full bin of ice:check
No work tomorrow : check
GO BOLTS !!

Just saw the Callahan hit first time.

Not cool dude. Not cool.

He is going to be suspended in addition to the injuries.

Bolts will be fine, pretty sure if this goes the distance, Stralman and Stamkos will be ready for it. Pretty move by Killorn.

Unlike your partner, I am always a positive and confident guy. Despite the PIT goal, Bolts look just speedier tonight.

Okay...

Glad to see some other people around here giving Lightning respect... Amazing to see how many players have stepped up this post season. They really stepped it up when Bishop went out.

Tough choice for Pens coach on goalie, I think he could have really only stopped the first one and his defense let him now.
