If nothing else I'm at least consistent. Same exact time for the first two stages of the current rally. I hit the rocks on the right side of the road early on in stage 1. In stage 2 I hit a telephone pole strait on and have no clue how that didn't ruin me for the rest of the rally. I think I'll have engine trouble for the remaining stages.

That second stage was dangerous with all the hills and the wet. Lost some pace taking it easy...

I don't understand their server issues...I run the first stage and get caught in a loop of "there was a problem downloading leaderboard data"...over and over. Can't even finish a stage and have it work.

Anybody had this issue? Maybe clearing cache, but it's been getting worse. I can't get anywhere with it finishing, and Google seems to return "yeah we're aware of it" from the Codies team.

It's a daily thing for me, Terry. Frustrating to say the least, and that was a nice run by you.

Thanks. Do you just keep pushing through it until it records? It's ridiculous, I hit it about 100 times and it kept failing. At least it looks like the first run recorded (really wish I'd stop making those 1 or 2 screwups per stage where I lose about 20 combined seconds trying to unscrew my situation, though).

Well sometimes at least you get the message that your time has not been recorded. Do you want to try again, 'Yes or No'. Heck, personally I never want to go thru the same torture long stages again so I click on No, but eventually your time gets recorded.

But what was happening to you on your broadcast is that there was no option for a Yes or No. Just to click on the eternal OK, the servers are down to which I usually reboot the bloody game but then you have to probably re- run the whole thing again.

Yeah, I have had the scenario where I just have to keep retrying to get it to post, as well as where I end up just having to reboot the game because you get caught in a loop. Very frustrating....They need to fix this as it was not this bad before.

It seems to upload the time (where you get the retry option), and then fails retrieving the leaderboard. When that happens, you're stuck in a loop with no way out except rebooting. And when you do that, it makes you run the first leg again.

I've finished everywhere from 7:17 to 7:29 on like 5 attempts and can't get stage 1 to finish, this is ridiculous.

You're going too fast. Run an 8+ minute time and you'll have no problem saving. At least I don't :P

Wish I could be of help, but I've only had that happen once and yes, it was frustrating. Sorry to hear you're having troubles.

I finally got the first stage to finish, and then didn't have another problem the rest of the way. Frustrating first stage, but the rest felt pretty good. Had a bad stage 4, I think it was, with a roll over and a spot where I got stuck with the nose pointing the wrong way.

It's crazy how I kept taking radiator damage from those jumps, had to massively alter my approach after the 2nd stage, when I apparently beat the sh*t out of my car

I screwed myself in the first stage of this weeks league rally as well, punctured a tire so cost me 1:30 to get that repaired. I believe I have a meltdown in Stage 5 as well, but the others I did pretty well.

The RaceNet server issues are getting worse and worse. I hope Codemasters can get those figured out. Terry, I get the same thing, I just press A over and over again until it eventually takes my time.

I've been having server problems too... Seems like it was really bad the past week, seemed better for me. Last week in another league I lost my time and got a puncture on the second run...

Might have to grab this game soon. The wife and I just drove up Pikes Peak, and it was a bit harrowing driving up. Coming down was a bit easier, but I still was pretty much in second 3/4 of the way down.

Thought it might be fun to try and drive it in Dirt Rally.

Finland is usually one of my better locations in this game, but I pushed the pace a bit too hard in the early stages. Dug myself a hole that I tried to dig out of, but the more I pressed, the worse I did. Not the best of showings, but I did thoroughly test the durability of my car in this one lol.

This statement is 100% true, 100% of the time...especially in a rally game as unforgiving as Dirt Rally.

Almost made it to the end in the final stage but hit one too many trees.

You're not alone, but my bigger issue now are the servers. Will try to finish the stages tonight.

These server issues are getting ridiculous. I posted a decent time on Stage 1 (2nd or 3rd) and it did not take no matter what I did. I was stuck in the loop for like 20 minutes and finally gave up. I did take a screenshot. Then it made me start over. I posted a slower time, but it showed my faster time, but only counted the slower time. Really frustrating. I have been trying to finish this damn rally all week.

That said, I love Finland. You've got to manage your jumps and speed, but it suits my driving style much better than all those damn hairpins in Greece. I don't think there is a hairpin in the entire Finland rally. Pretty fun.. Still loving this game, but these server issues are driving me crazy. Thanks to everyone that is hanging in there.

PS - You've got until 3:00am EDT tomorrow morning (less than 7 hours from now) to post your results!
