A generally strong episode, but I was a little put off by the Iron Islands intrigue. The time left in the series is starting to get short and we are really going to play succession games in a place where we have almost no emotional involvement?

I'm sure there will be an episode where a half-dozen main characters slip on a banana peel and into the jaws of a dragon, eliminating the need to resolve those subplots.

I am more put off that anyone in this world would let themselves get hugged by their psychopathic bastard son right after announcing the birth of a legitimate heir.

Say what now? I thought that was on the short list of the all-time greatest episodes. There were at least 3-4 new huge story points, and the action was crisp and well-paced.

I am very relieved at how the series has rebounded after a poor Season 5. The most boring storylines are moving forward with Daenerys finally getting her lovely ass back on the horse (literally) and the zealot storyline looking like it will finally be less penance and more pulverizing. There's a lot of momentum again and I can't wait to see how the back half of this season goes.
