Blues got the breaks that they didn't get in the second game. Elliot was solid but overall I thought they were the better side today. One goal difference in all three games. As I posted earlier this is one close series, what happened in years past is past. Neither team has a clear advantage over the other one, so far.

Yeah, and it'll have to start with Mason. I thought that J. Howard needed to be better too for DET and look who's starting today. Mrazek is, and so far so good for the Wings. Maybe Flyers should give Neuvirth a look?

When your boys had that long 5 on 3 yesterday in the first period and were peppering Holtby, the real HOT guy stopped everything. He's my Vezina candidate for sure, and with two former Kings with experience in their lineup, Caps look really strong this year with a lot of depth.

I understand that every year in the playoffs, certain teams and characters bring certain perceptions along them. Good or bad. Caps and Sharks, the Blues...But somewhere along those perceptions, reality will set in for some. Just ask Jimmy if he's not nervous about being down 0-2 this time around...

Pretty good start to these playoffs. Most series are competitive, besides the woeful wild. Is there any doubt they'll be swept by Dallas? Fans here claim it's due to Parise being out, but this is just a lackluster hockey team who has no scoring threats and spent all their money on 2 players. How are those Parise and suter signings looking now?


I love the throwback cujo mask that elliot is wearing. I read he's going to be selling it for charity. Hawks vs blues was my favorite rivalry in the cujo/belfour years.

Didn't see NAS being up 2-0 at this point but if ANA continues to make dumb penalties, and P. Rinne stands on his head, some heads will be rolling soon in Ducks land. I still think they have enough depth to turn things around but right now they are making things too easy for the Preds. Paging Getzlaf and Perry.
