My favorite Kobe moment was watching him squirm next to his hot wife when he had to admit infidelity.

Mine was when he got right/left combo'd by Chris Childs.

I can't see the Heat making it out of the 1st round in the playoffs, not after they blew another 26 pt lead. How is it that teams can adjust to make up the difference and the Heat, can't do the same? I gotta blame coaching.

Congrats to the Warriors for breaking the NBA wins record.

I didn't watch the second half of that Heat game.

I thought Winslow and Richardson were lock down defenders but they are rookies so maybe it's part of their growing pains.

Then again, they signed Dorrell Wright so maybe they felt lacking in the defense and 3-point shooting dept.

You would hope that was a good excuse but unfortunately it has been a bad trend this year with teams they should have beat but lost. Then add multiple games where they were blowing out their opponents like last night in Boston and allowed them to make the necessary halftime adjustments and get beat. So why did their opposition make the necessary adjustments but the Heat, could not?

You have to put the blame on Coach Spo and his staff.

Looks like Thibbs is finalizing a deal to be the next HC and president of basketball operations with the Wolves, 5 years @11 million per year. He has his detractors but the Bulls post Thibbs are a much different team. Plus he looks to inherit two young franchise players in Towns and Wiggins.

Thibs is a great coach. Plus Minnesota is an excellent fit because the core of the team is young and can physically handle and mentally accept Thibs' grinding, relentless style. Thibs could help himself, too, by realizing that a game in Sacramento in late January isn't the same as a Game 7 in a playoff series.

Towns, Wiggins, LaVine, Rubio, Kevin Martin -- this team will be very dangerous in the West in a few years. Plus they'll have a nice draft pick this June.

Kevin Martin is off the team.

Rubio is kind of a disappointment. Can't shoot to save his life but he's the only PG on that team.

They're saddled with a bad contract with Petrovich, now that they have Towns. And probably to a lesser extent, the $8 million they will pay for Garnett next year to be a cheerleader on the bench.

Wonder if he'll bring in a good offensive coach. Their rising stars are really athletic so should be good defenders but Wiggins didn't make the big jump they hoped for this past year.

Good catch on Martin. Rubio is a GREAT passer and a really good defender. They won't need him to score if Wiggins, Towns and LaVine do their job.

Teams were sagging off of him and he still couldn't shoot well enough.

If the Wolves sign a player like Aaron Brooks as a backup to bring more offense, that will pretty much tell you Rubio isn't cutting it.

In what universe is Scott Brooks an upgrade over Randy Wittman? A real head-scratcher unless Wizards' ownership thinks hiring Durant's former head coach will help to lure him home to DC.

Fat chance.

If Steph Curry is out for the rest of the playoffs (MRI on Monday), the NBA Championship is now up for grabs for either San Antonio or Cleveland. Watching the replay of Curry slipping on the court from some liquid or perspiration he immediately grabbed his knee.

Warriors weren't looking that great with Curry in the first half or in game 1.

No Curry for Dubs, no CP3 for Clips. Popovich actually smiles this morning. :)

Last I read, Curry is out maybe 2 weeks, either way the Cavs won't beat the Warriors or the Spurs and another year of NBA mileage on Lebron.

Cavs had a 2-1 lead over GS in the finals and that was without Irving and Love, who are playing well now. And Lebron looks fine. I think Cavs gave him more rest this season.

The biggest change for the Cavs was Ty Lue's decision to move Love to the 5. Immobile, close-to-the-basket bigs like Drummond, Jordan and Howard can't guard Love on the perimeter when he drifts out to shoot threes, and it opens the lane for other Cleveland players.

It will be something if the Indiana Pacers can beat the highly favored Toronto Raptors. If it happens Frank Vogel deserves a medal from Larry Bird. This is the same Coach who was on the hotseat a couple of years ago. Though, it doesn't hurt having a top ten player in the league.

Miami looked like juggernauts the first two games, now it's tied.

Looks like Cavs will waltz through the East at this point.

Miami is a "much" different team at home. It's been that way throughout the season and Coach Spo's game decisions and lineups have been real head-scratcher's like putting D-Wade to guard Frank Kaminsky. That blew up in his face because up to that point he was scoreless in the playoffs. He's also elected not to put Josh McRoberts in the lineup who's known to move the ball a lot.

Bummer. I wanted him in New York. Looking more and more like Genius Phil will stick with his antiquated Triangle idiot, Kurt Rambis, on the Knicks' bench.

Jackson is looking like a perfect match of incompetence for Knicks' owner Jim Dolan. We're seeing that Krause and Kupchak played a far greater role than appreciated in the success of the Bulls and Lakers under Jackson, as Phil is a sh*tty GM.

Phil's got an out after next year.

And Lakers front office may undergo a change after next season if Luke can't get the Lakers to at least contend for a playoffs spot.

What timing, though at his age, does Phil still have the drive or he just wants to collect fat paychecks while people are willing to write him fat ones?

I hope he exercises it and returns to banging Jeannie Buss full time.

Very good point. Dolan pays Phil $12 million per year, and Phil isn't even required to be in New York full time. Total cash and carry.

The difference between the Spurs and OKC was shocking in Game 1. I expected the Spurs to win this series, but OKC better get its sh*t together soon, or this series is over in four or five.

Something tells me the Thunder will rally. But Aldridge -- holy f*ck.
