So much for Mike Tannebaum's thorough search for a new HC. As predicted they hired another rookie HC in Adam Gase because none of the big names want to work in Miami with the current regime. We'll revisit this in 3-4 yrs i'm sure. Hopefully by then Steven Ross will have sold the team and Tannebaum will be long gone screwing up another franchise.

It's been a crazy playoffs so far. I like the Chiefs chances because their defense is just so freaking steady and dominant. They don't need the offense to be dynamic, just efficient. But Belichek is pretty damn good at finding weaknesses.

Really happy Seattle pulled out the game today. They are fun to watch. I was at the Chiefs/Colts playoff game in the 90's that was that cold, or worse. On that day, the kickers missed 5-6 FGs, and it was the difference in the game, as the Chiefs lost 10-7. Crazy to think they hit so many FGs today.

As for that Bengals game, that was a freaking mess, and I'm glad they are going home.

Vikings fans along Bengals ought to do some heavy drinking XXXIV style. When the FG was about to be kicked I had my chin down and was ready for some miraculous Lockett return along some magic from Wilson. The turf was difficult to play under those conditions for both teams. Apparently it felt like an ice rink. Key momentum shift of the game was when Wilson turned that missed snap into a 35 yard pass completion. Huge. Most QB's today would have just huddled the football.

Expecting a higher score next weekend.
