I'm mad at myself for them suckering me in only to see the same old stuff we always see. If you play conservative all the time you may be in every game but you'll lose more than you'll win.
Anyone who wonders why John Fox is available only has to look at his late game decision making. It's easy to blame the kicker who seems to be coming back to human standards this year but with the field position the Bears had in the first quarter to only get 6 points was just suckage.
My head blowed up when they kicked on 4th and 3 from the 45 in the 4th. I know that's what we're in for, but it was still frustrating. That said, Gould still gets 97% of the blame from me.

While I don't disagree, I have a hard time placing my hopes on a kicker, even one with his track record. Maybe it's me but he has been spotty at best. While the conservative offense keeps Cutler from being Cutler it doesn't help to play the safe game. We did it in Greenbay and got lucky it didn't cost us. Cutler has been very inaccurate on his deep balls this year.
Really the only bright spot this year has been the defense. I know they gave up 2 bad TD's but what they have done with that talent is outstanding IMO. Of course he will be a head coach next year and we're back to square one. I prefer the more aggressive secondary play any day than that Cover 2 crap.

Here is to another Monday of meat head Bears fans blaming the kicker. No one will remember how Cutler missed Jefferies deep twice once by under throwing it and the other throwing it deep.
John Fox game plan "We'll get beat but the games will be close" I also saw Cleveland beat the 49ers. Yep Bears are real close to being an NFL team again.

You should of seen Fox's post game presser. 3 of thew first 4 questions were about what is wrong with Gould. This town is just a little out of touch with reality when it comes to their teams. 3 weeks ago they were saying this team could make the playoffs. Bottom line is there is a long road ahead before they become relevant again.

Actually no. I believe Washington retained 1st due to their win over the Eagles in November. Still...the Birds are looking good for the stretch run and I obviously love it but I also love that some of the bullwinkle media in Philly are now eating crow. Kelly called out the dumbass reporter that reported he was hung up on by McCoy this past week. Of course The Inquirer "stands by their story." I believe The Inquirer was the paper that reported Kelly met with USC in Philly the Friday before Thanksgiving. He was in Vermont that day. Just be Fn' responsible. Its not hard.
That game was a bad sign if the future. Tannehill was barely touched...he had tons of time and constantly missed open receivers...especially in the fourth when out really mattered. I thought his lack of accuracy was because of the ultra porous offensive line play. This was a bad sign.
At least he can audible now and he did it fairly effectively.
The other thing that bothered me was when Landry got that horrible personal foul and Tannehill basically laughed it off. He needs to be a leader and get in his face. You think Marino or Brady would be laughing in that situation? Sad.
Like I said prior to the Dolphins drafting RT, that Moore was the better option. He has a better arm, nice touch on the deep ball and is more accurate than RT.
RT got his $96 mill, the coaching staff is gone after this season and the front office thinks he's a franchise QB.
OBJ can kiss my ass. My opponent in fantasy playoffs had him going last night and needed 30 points to beat my fantastic score for the week. I was by no means comfortable going into MNF but I figured there was a SLIGHT chance OBJ would put up 30+. Well....s***. I'm out.

That sux dude but you dance with the devil
On the good news side...The Rams do appear to MAYBE have a future after that cum bucket fisher is gone...
Early in the season I thought Amari Cooper would run away with ROY. Now he's hit some sort of a rookie wall (zero catches on 8 targets against Denver, but most were just misthrown balls under duress as Carr was getting annihilated in the first half).
But while that was happening, I'm sure most have heard of Khalil Mack's absolute domination in the second half to carry them to that win. So since we're posting highlight videos (Gurley's is nice, those couple runs where he looked like he was falling and somehow kept his balance were silly):
