So glad to see this announcement. I think FO3 is right behind The Last of Us as my favorite game of the last generation, even though I didn't care for the ending. Coming out of the Vault after the opening level remains one of the most incredible rushes I have ever felt in a game.

Too bad we probably won't see #4 until next year.

Comes with Fallout 3. Even better, PC mods on consoles.

Some gameplay vids and info from E3:

You get to customize settlements with everything from defenses to decorations. And it's coming this year, November 15! Hope that date sticks.

I sure wish there was a month separation between this game and Tomb Raider. Can't decide which one to purchase first.

I was going to get Tomb Raider first, but then Bestbuy w GCU had a nice deal on Fallout 4. $68 for the game, Season Pass for all DLC and a pair of socks! Plus $10 to spend later for preordering.

I should wait on the new Tomb Raider. But the first one was so damn good. I may just dump a few games at Target (double trade in 11/6 and 11/7) and use that for Tomb Raider.

I got both... going to be a tough decision each night which game to play. Tomb Raider was an amazing game.

If you're torn, you should get Tomb Raider first. That's going to be the typical 10 to 20 hour game. Fallout is supposed to be hundreds and HUNDREDS of hours. Witcher 3 was the biggest game I've ever seen, and it was 200 hours. Fallout testers have reported still seeing new content after 400 hours, so if you try Fallout first, you may never get to Tomb Raider.

Aye. I find I'm not able to switch freely between several games on the go (especially if it's my first time through them). Going to finish up Halo 5, then Tomb Raider, and get to Fallout 4 last because I don't think I'll be playing much else for the rest of the year once I start.

I'm going to go with Tomb Raider as well. I'm not sure I'm quite ready for a massive open world game. I pre-ordered Tomb Raider so I should get a $15 dollar certificate to use on FO4.

If I spend 400 hours playing a game I'll need to readdress my life priorities.

The more i think about this statement the more I'm leaning towards not buying this game now. I still haven't finished Witcher 3, and I doubt I had 400 hours to game in the last 10 months. Plus MGS is still sitting there waiting to be played more.

Ugh.....

Right, it's intimidating as hell. But that's to do ALL of it. If you're not into the Minecraft-like crafting system, you may not see a hundred hours there. If you're just blasting through the main quest, it might be 20 hours. I don't know, but I feel scared to even start on it, because Witcher 3 alone I'm STILL playing, bits and pieces of. Same with Dragon Age. Fallout might be something I"m still struggling to finish 2 years from now.

I must find a way to retire of make money playing games. I don't think a 49 year old male gamer can make a living playing video games on twitch, market is flooded. :D
