Hey Jrod, I have a basically unused webpage that we could use for this, but I don't have Frontpage. Instead of using Frontpage you can just edit and save as HTML using MS-Word, and I'll put up the stats if you want.

Jack,
I'd love to play but I haven't played rounds 1 or 2 in. Can I play 3 or 4 out of order.

yes, you can play them out of order, but unfortunately I already played them last night. I looked and no one was online, so I played them myself.
Mt scores are terrible.....had to pause it once when my dog was attacking my bird (he's ok) and lost penalty strokes (hate that feature!). Anyway, looking forward to next tournament.

is it too late to join #3? I want in!

Oakmont, same rules, same style. It should be a bit easier to score than the Scottish Swing (DSP 2). Even the Sunday round (round 4) you should have an easier time at it.

Tournament 4 will be out Low Ball Tournament, it will probably be set up on Superstition or Mauna Lui (whatever that course is). It will be set up easier to score so we should see some really low scores.

Jack,
I think I screwed up on the start date. I must have stated Sunday instead of monday. Usually the deadline is Sunday evening. XSN confuses me on the start date. If I select monday then the deadline for the start and finish dates seem to be 11:59PM Monday. But if select Sunday it should be 11:59PM on sunday. That was the option I selected so why did the tournament start already.

Start time never stays the same. It is kinda weird how it does it. Usually the time you are setting up the tourney is close to the time the tourney will start on the date you list.

The ending time however is always 2am Central (Midnight west coast) on the date the tourney ends.

I know for sure the end time is what it is because I have played numerous tourney rounds right before 2am and had them post, but ones after 2am not post. Start time is still the iffy one, but it doesnt always start on West Coast time at Midnight of the date.

Hope this helps a little.

Ya I'll try...

Hey I think I'm going to change the tournament venue to St. Andrews. We should do a pick-a-pro for The British.

I'm thinking since this will be a short week, only a 2 rounder where you pick your pro which will count for the first two rounds. So your pro's weekend scores count for 2 rounds and your 2 rounds finished it up.

James, let me know how you want to work the webpage and stats even if we get that far.

DSP 3A - Two rounder starting friday and running only to sunday/ monday. And you have to have your pro picks in by Fri :ate. BTW, should your first choice not make the cut for the weekend round you should probably put in a B player. And should they not make the cut well S.O.L.

You should probably put those picks in the forum, PM(DSP) me if you want them private. Everyone is available to take including Tiger, Els, Mickleson etc. A pro can be picked by more than one person and the weekend rounds for the pro, are taken. Please have choice #1 and #2 just incase #1 fails to make the cut. Deadline for picks are Friday Late.

Tournament Name: DSP Tourney 3A
Password: 4578211

DSP 4 Will start Monday on our regular day. Details coming...

Sorry I made it so short but its just to get everybody in and then hopefully allow enough time to play two rounds.

Anyway we are back to our normal schedule on monday. Be prepared to score low as we are travalling to Avaira or Mauna Lua.

Jrod, if you accumulate stats somehow, if you want to send me just text or some form of HTML that's fine.

I don't mind posting it up... but I'd prefer if you do the leg work to gather the data and just fire it to me via e-mail. I'll PM you my e-mail.

I'm just going to do stuff in FrontPage then send you the HTML. I know FrontPage is messy but I don't want to type in HTML for this project. I could do it in Word but that's even worse than FrontPage.

I was thinking of just having a tournament overview with stats and score cards, I'm just going to copy and paste those. As for accumulated stats, I suppose I can do something in Excel. I don't want to get too fancy so I'll think of something. I just want something that will take a few minutes to put into HTML then a few more minutes of making it look nice. I don't want to spend two hours on this. Either way I'll send you the HTML and you can just paste it onto your site.
