Not at all Dan. It had nothing to do with your play , it is hard to make small adjustments on D . Dont let that discourage you from joining us again. Try a different build , they do feel different with the skating.
Takes great courage to play net with us in front of you.

Definitely NOT you.
We were wondering if you would ever come back after you saw how WE play. That was not the norm. Usually EAs rubber band kicks in.
Playing D is a challenge. A frustrating one. It does have its rewards hidden as they may be...Nothing like the W.
I do think with the improvement to poke checking and intercepting passes, that D is even more about "being in the right spot" this year. Having real life hockey knowledge helps. split the ice in half, play either the R or L side, and don't chase guys after they get out of any danger zones. If the forwards go behind the net, let them stay there all day if they want, just stay between them and any forwards standing in the front waiting for a one timer.
And yes, i'm still adjusting to the skating after only a few games..... but i had fun playing D when I was back there with you guys.
Everyone is still adjusting...... and the slight lag we all feel isn't helping either. ONce that smooths out, I think the tiny adjustments will be a lot easier. And all the whiners I see in other forums can shut up.......
Too many people want tape to tape passes all the time and to score on every shot.

I'm assuming that voice chat is disabled on the beta?
We're always in a party, so look to join that even before you boot up the game. Plenty of chatting going on. Mostly bitching and whining about how the game cheats against us.
Yes nothing like waking up sitting on the s****** and reliving all the highlights and lowlights from the night before. Thanks to the miracles of next gen technology the trials and tribulations of the ice dragons will be documented for all to see!
I will definitely be getting my NHL virgin self on the ice come 9/15. This thread has gotten me.....pre-ordered today. Am I to assume the Xbox One version is the one to get?

Cool.
Yeah the One is where you will get all your Dragon magic, whining, frustration, fun etc....
Im hoping we will be able to intra squad when game goes Live. That is the most fun I have had with this game.

You play a pretty good D for someone who is watching True Detective while he skates.
A pair of clips from last night. I'd expected to add a couple more (hence the 2 clip countdown ), but realized I'd only saved a couple worthy of being shared.
