While early entries in this generation have been bumpy, EA Sports has really laid the foundation for some good games going forward. I thought Madden 15 was great, and 16 looks like a pretty massive step forward. NBA Live 16 is starting to look like a really fun game. And after last year's debacle of a release, NHL 16 looks like it has recovered pretty damn well.

It makes me curious how EA plans to shore up RMPGAT. They have already said it won't be an annual release, so I wonder how much content, as in online modes, stat tracking, and a deeper career mode, that they can add. I'm sure plenty of courses will come, both free and paid. But RMPGAT suffers the same bare bones state NHL 16 was released in.

But on topic, this looks like I may buy this sooner than I was planning. I have spent so much time on Madden 15, that I was considering waiting for the vault for this version. But man, it looks like the real deal.

I played a digitally downloaded copy of Arkham Knight all day with my wife with zero issues. I had no idea there was an outage.

EA are a bunch of f***ers, though.

From what I've read the beta is going to be rolled out at different times based on region. Gotta wait on more info.

This is spot on IMO. If this is how it goes down the game is going to be way more fun/exciting/entertaining.

THIS IS A CROCK OF ***!! They have ruined this game, You can't even change your height and weight?? What a joke. Balanced playing field my arse! The bad players will still get owned by the top players that will never change no matter how much you dummy up the game. Everyone on the ice with the same players?? Wow what fun!! Might be time for a class action lawsuit against EA.. Who are they to tell you what you can or can't do with a game you bought?? You whining little idiots can have this garbage game i'm done with it.

No matter what type of player you choose to play with, I can't emphasize enough the importance of good teamwork and communication with players playing their positions. When I was invited to play the Beta in the studios in Vancouver, I would see the typical sniper that wanted to do it all including scoring of course forgetting that they were five other guys playing.

I didn't pay too much attention to the different type of players but playing positionally sound hockey was more paramount that picking your prototypical choice.

. I also want to play some Playmaker too. My assists to goal ratio makes that obvious.
