I met the Snake a few years back at an auto signing. Got one auto for me on a Bama mini helmet and one for my Raider buddy on a Raider mini helmet.

He asked my name. We shook hands. Little did I know was that he signed the Raider mini helmet " To my friend Alex". My Raider friend was? when he saw that. 8)

Hated him as a kid but always respected him. He belongs in the Hall. You CANNOT tell the story of the NFL in the 70s without him. He was a giant to me as a kid as the bad guy.

RIP Kenny.

One of my first memories of the NFL was Super Bowl XI as the Raiders beat the Vikings and I loved the Raiders ever since.

What a cast of characters with The Snake leading the way.

RIP Snake.

RIP to The Snake.

Some of my fondest memories as a kid were watching NFL Films' highlights of the great Raiders' teams of the 70s, with John "The Voice of God" Facenda narrating Stabler passes to Fred Biletnikoff and Dave Casper.

Damn, used to love watching him as a kid in the 70's. R.I.P. Kenny.
