Maybe but lebron has been in the Finals before.

Curry had the top selling jersey this year and ABC has been featuring the Warriors in the playoffs since the first round, putting their games on the Sunday national broadcasts whenever they could.

Warriors are a bigger market club than San Antonio, OKC. Until the Knicks and Especially the Lakers return to title contention, the networks might like the Warriors, though they are way behind the 49ers and Giants in the local market.

Let's not kid ourselves, hardcore NBA fans will watch no matter. The casual fan would be attracted to Lebron more than anyone on GS...including Curry. End of discussion.

All the stories now how lebron coached the team and disrespected blatt countless times. I'm not surprised he was talking like a coach every post game of the finals.

Why don't the cavs just hire lebron as player coach. I'd love to see a hard ass coach with lebron to teach him Some respect like tibs. Egotistical star athlete vs weak coach will go on forever.

ESPN did a piece on that. It said that Bron Bron was calling timeouts, substituting players, calling plays, shaking his head when Blatt's called a play. Not cool even if he's the best player in the game.

That's why so many hate lebron. Unless he has someone like wade and bosh there to balance his ego, he'll always disrespect any coach. He would have done the same to sploestra if the other 2 weren't there.

He tried that with Spo when he deliberately bumped into him the 1st year he was in Miami. Apparently Riley had some words with Bron Bron and that never happened again. To be fair with Bron, Wade also went off on Spo the 1st year the Heatles were together. Riles runs a tight ship and he doesn't put up with that type of stuff.

I can't stand listening to Dan Le Betard but the dude knows how to write. He sums up James to a T.

I must be in the minority because I love listening to his show on ESPN radio.

Well that was fun. A couple days of anticipation and excitement only to have my throat kicked in by the damn Spurs again. Some things never change.

It was interesting that the Suns actually had a shot because usually free agents just use Phoenix to get leverage. So maybe next year. Not like there is anyone worth a damn out there besides Durant.

Nobody in the same stratosphere as Durant, but Horford, Noah, Howard, Conley and DeRozan will draw suitors.

Still, you're right: Next year's free agency period is the Durant Derby.

Man i'm soooo glad LMA went to anyone but the Heat. That would have been a HUGE sign and trade if both sides had agreed to a deal and the Heat would have given up too much. The Spurs look solid this coming year. Oh and Winslow and Richardson both looked solid during their debut in summer league. Winslow obviously drew all the raves as the heat had him playing pos. 1-4 during the game.

That's assuming Durant doesn't have more problems with his foot/feet.

Yeah, Winslow did look good. I was impressed with him.

In other news, supposedly Joel Embiid grew two more inches and is now 7'2"...no s***.

KD better not have another foot injury this year because he's had several in his short career. The Celtics tried to trade up with the Heat by offering 4 1st rounders to take Winslow and Riles said HELL NO !

I'm still stunned Winslow dropped to No. 10. I had him top five, at worst. He could be the next Kawhi.

Don't get too carried away. That team still has plenty of holes. Wade's health always is a question, and Whiteside could be the proverbial flash in the pan. They're not going to beat Cleveland next season. No one in the East is.

And Cleveland needs to stay healthy as well. If healthy I like Miami's chances this year. Whiteside will need to perform at a high level if he wants Riles or anyone else to pay up as he's a FA in 2016.

The two draft picks if they produce can prolong Wade. He's the team leader and the focal point. Both Winslow and Richardson looked good in their debut.

Bron Bron's nemesis happens to be on the Heat, Deng. If they stay healthy a starting 5 of Bosh, Deng/McRoberts, Wade, Dragic and Whiteside is pretty stout. The pundits are putting the Heat in the top 3 of the East this year.

And other than Golden State, I don't see any one beating the Spurs with Pop's and his lineup.

Top 3 in the East? Yes. Top 3 in the NBA? Those pundits are high. LeBron, Irving and Love all are better than their counterparts on the Heat, and Mozgov and Thompson proved to be a strong inside tandem throughout the playoffs. Whiteside still needs to prove his effectiveness for an entire season.

Top 3 in the East. As far as Bron, Love, Irving vs Heat. I'll give you Bron Bron. Love is all offense and no D. Bosh is right up there with Love and Bosh plays well both sides of the ball. In fact up until we found out Bosh had blood clots, he was putting up some nice stats.

Irving vs Wade? When healthy Wade can go with the best of them so it's a draw. Hell go back several pages and our resident BB expert and insider (DB) had the Heat in the Finals when they acquired Dragic. :)

I fully expect them to compete w the Cavs if all parties are healthy. Adding Winslow to spell Wade and Deng (if he is still there) is going to be a nice option to have.

Health is going to be a huge key in the east as no one appears to have stars without major injury issues. Between Irving and love and wade and bosh...it's always something. Luck has a lot to do with rings unless you're clearly the dominant team. Last one of those I can really remember is the Lakers of the early 2000s. They didn't need injury luck...they just destroyed teams.

Looks like Stat wants to join the Heat. Supposedly Riley is interested bringing him in as a bench player and added depth at the PF position.

Waste of money. Bad knees, can't rebound, doesn't play defense. Sure, STAT might give you a few nights in which he shows glimpses of his days with Phoenix and his first season in New York. But that won't happen often.

I'd take Stoudemire for the veteran minimum or something slightly more. That's it.

The most interesting story in the NBA today is word is coming from LA that Jordan is starting to regret his decision to commit to Dallas, and Griffin, Paul and Steve Ballmer are wooing him HARD to renege on his commitment and stay in LA. Today or tomorrow is the first day players can sign contracts.

Dallas is really f*cked if Jordan stays in LA, as it understandably stopped looking for big men after his commitment. Ladies and gentlemen, your starting center for the 2015-16 Dallas Mavericks, Cole Aldrich! :)

Then again, the Sixers have 11 centers on their roster. So maybe Sam Hinkie will get a call from Dallas.
