Good season by the Hawks. Lost to worthy team. 2 cups was good to see in a lifetime. Tampa will walk away w the cup and celebrate like the St. Louis Blues afterwards.

Hossa played great this series. I was surprised he still had something left in the tank.

Great Keith won MVP, but Crawford was just as deserving. But Keith never gets tired, all those hits and minutes and he can probably go another series.

Like I said, these guys proved me wrong. My negative reinforcement worked with the hockey gods I guess being a cubs fans you're use to chokes but these guys are the anti-cub.

I'm telling you, there was no way the Hawks weren't going to beat that team 2 out of 3 for a Cup. As great as Hedman is, the rest of their D wasn't up to snuff...especially with their GK situation so dire.

Kane was completely genius tonight. He was just endlessly creative on damn near every shift. I kept saying that I hoped he got the goal he deserved for working so hard for the team, and I was delighted that it worked out.

All of this partying just makes me more pissed off about last season. That can't be a sign of good mental health on my part.

Looking forward to another summer of having my social media feeds overrun with friends and family checking out the Cup all over town. That's a great, great thing.

Injury reports coming in from Tampa post game last night. Tyler Johnson who didn't take a faceoff after game 2 played the rest of the series with a fractured wrist and Ben Bishop's discomfort was a tear in his groin. I'm sure similar injuries will surface for the Hawks. These guys are tough. Fun to watch.

What a great cup run for the Hawks this year. With a year filled with ups and downs they found a way to put it all together and in my opinion win their most impressive championship. This truly felt like their best championship as a team with lots of guys stepping up and contributing along with the usual suspects like Kane, Toews, and Keith. Their experience got them through the first 4 games of Tampa Bay outplaying them tied 2-2 and then they took over from there. I love this team and after so many years of wondering if they would ever be any good again am beyond thrilled that they have won 3 cups in 6 years.
