Franchises barely old enough to have hair on their peckers have no right to expect their fanbase to hold off the fans of a mature team. :P

HAHA... I love hockey, so it's all in fun. I have friends who are big Hawks fans, so they have been blowing my phone and facebook up.

Time to put a Bolts picture on their pages!

For what a heck of a series this match up offered us up to now, I was disappointed already at the outcome when the game was 3-0 for the Hawks. Ducks' play reminded me of their lopsided loss last year vs the Kings on game 7. They weren't ready from the get go.

Desperate measures brought Kane and Towws together, not a genius move by coach Q by any stretch of the imagination but one he had to make in game 6. In fact I would be shocked if he kept the same lethal line up against the Bolts in the finals, at least for the first 2-3 games.

Toews in my view is the best player in the world and he shows up whenever his team needs him to. Whether is Kane, Keith, Crawford, someone always shows up at the right time.

This was a deep Ducks team folks, with perhaps the goaltender being a question mark at the beginning of the playoffs and the best team in he West. But for whatever reason the past two seasons in key game 7's they failed to show up.

You realize why though right? Lots of transplants here from other crappy parts of the country.

Southern California is mostly a land of transplants, I don't get why people don't get that. We get the same thing when a midwestern or northeastern team play the Chargers. We have a lot of people from shitty parts of the country who move here, and bring their team allegiances with them.

Not a hockey expert by any stretch of the imagination, but he (Toews) was clearly the best player on the ice this series.

Congrats to the Blackhawks, they simply wouldn't go away.

So so. Cal is perfect. Everywhere else is a shitty part of the country. Got it. Sounds like someone drank some bitter beer tonight.

Perfect? Nope. But there's a reason people migrate here and not the other way around, Which is why there are so many fans from of other teams here.

The point was, people who get on So. Cal fans for stuff like this, simply don't get the demographics of the area.

Great showing by the Hawks. I've watched every single Hawks playoff game this year and last night was the best I've seen their defense. Smart plays all around on both sides of the center line. Crisp passing, great D (pole checks abound) and being more than content playing the punching bag for the Ducks and just quietly skating all over them. Hawks version of a Rope-A-Dope. (not to discredit the Ducks - they scared the hell out of me the entire series)

Part of me thinks the Bolts are LA Kings like this season.. but when Chicago has it going, there is no team that can touch them.

Ive been here 30 yrs , i get the demographic . I might be a transplant.

I point it out more in the fact that its the way those away fans flaunt it and taunt it in an away building, there is a reason there is segregation in Soccer grounds, if your an away fan amongst the home fans you wouldn't be wearing your colors and you'd be cheering from inside.
Its annoying and i bet the only consequence was some one got hit by a peanut.

AND So Cal is far from perfect Inuyasha i wouldn't move here if i was you.

I actually like the irvine area, and that part of OC. Other than that, i do like so cal. But I have an opposite experience when visiting there. The people who are transplants are very friendly and nice to me but the homegrown people have sort of a dick attitude. It's like they're sort of full of themselves. Like when Dwight Howard didn't choose to stay w/ the Lakers, people were like shocked how he could have chosen anywhere other than So Cal.

I shouldn't throw stones, I live in an area with the snobbiest people on the face of the earth.

I have watched most of Tampa NYR and the Lightning do not surrender. I thought they were done after that terrible game 6 but they rose to the level of the challenge. So I am expecting another tough series.

Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf said. "They played better than us tonight. I'm not telling you they are a better team than us. We didn't do enough to win."

Maybe the Ducks should look for a captain who has a little class and shows up in big games, something he is obviously lacking. Enjoy the golf course boys!

Great pace in the game, this is going to be a fun series to watch. Great puck control for TPA with the man advantage, they just couldn't execute.

One thing I am seeing is how good Bolts are at faceoffs so far, and Hawks are one of the better puck possession teams out there. TPA started on fire and could have been up by a couple but Hawks evened out the play in the last six minutes of the game.

Anyone expecting a sweep or a short series has been shown some light. ...Not that it wont be a short series or a sweep. Its only one period of game one.

To those clowns talking about the Lightning winning three straight series vs original six teams...What they need to worry about is the Bolts winning two straight series vs Price and Lundqvist..They can skate and they can score.
