Remember. They are all sleep walking when we watch our teams in the west coast.

I think you're giving too much credit to the source of those comments.

Hey, check the Worlds. Heck of a game between the Russians and Swedes today. Two intriguing semis coming up. Team USA-Russia and Canada vs Czech. Ovie is going there as we speak. A lot of NHL players are playing in this tournament.

Just have to get up early.

My good friend was at one time a top 25 sports handicapper in the country. He has Chicago in 6 and NY rangers in 7. I've been around hockey for 25 years. I know the game. The ducks are a solid team but they're overmatched in every phase of the game in this series. Dislike my opinion all you want because I'm just some rube on a forum, but the experts agree with my takes at the end of the day. Chicago vs NY rangers for the cup, you can bank on that. :o

The schedule is out for both games 1 this weekend. My question is: Who the hell watches playoffs hockey in the afternoon?

I hate this scheduling. You go from having a playoff game basically every night, to not having one for a week.
And did Chicago and Anaheim really need 10 and 7 days off, respectively.

It really breaks up the momentum of the playoff drive for the fans and the teams.

Sticks out doesnt it ? The east just finished two nights ago while they finished in the west two years ago.

The NHL front office. Talk about f***in worthless idiots.

Bettmann is simply the best.

Team Canada is in the World finals after blanking out the home team in Prague 2-0. Awaiting the outcome of Russia-USA.

I'm hoping for an exciting game today with Ducks and Hawks. The Rangers-lightning have speed to burn, but that series has low scoring garbage goal fest written all over it.

This tourney has never done anything for me. Having said that. That was a pretty dominant performance by Canada and done with only two members of the 2014 Olympic gold team. Depth is a beautiful thing as out scoring your opponents 17-1 in the four elimination games is as good as it gets.

For those in Canada thinking this will become a yearly thing...I DOUBT this many high quality players will go to Moscow next year. Oh and Sid gratz on the triple gold but not really cause you are one that will not travel to Russian in 2016.

Third period is where they live. I just wish they didn't look like sh*t for the first two (particularly the second almost every time).

I should have checked this thread earlier. Missed the Ducks/Hawks game because, silly me, I assumed it would be on tonight.

My fault for not checking the schedule. Hopefully, they don't have any midweek morning games.....
