Game seven OT!

Sweet!

Rangers were the MUCH better team last half of the game.... They keep going same way and it looks inevitable but f*** that...Come on Caps! Do this thing!
Best series of the second round with all the twists and turns that they went thru. And yeah, the difference between Orpik's hot and Kronwall is that he never lept into the player with his skates.

The hero's in OT: Ovie for WAS, Brassard for NY.

Well, a Rangers-TB conference final and Anaheim still in the west bodes well for one of my hockey pools....... Usually by now all my players are gone because I am the Anti-Kreskin!

Brackets? That's too easy. Real Canadians pick players........... and then have them scratched! (i.e Drouin), or under perform! (i.e Nash)

Thank God I also picked Perry, and he's averaging 40 points a game!

I'm just happy, it's been a few years since i've won a pool, so anything i win still leaves me in the red for all time hockey gambling. :P

I'm not a fan of any team per say, but I like the Rangers the most of any remaining team.

Hockey in Tampa is still weird to me.. I don't see how that state can support a hockey team. Even still, none of these teams can skate with the blackhawks.

Yandle's quick pass off the draw to Girardi at the point was the engine behind the game-winner for the Rangers tonight. Smart, smart play.

Hockey in Tampa is weird so there not going to win.
Rangers are good because they have been around a long time and their Stadium is awesome.
Hawks are awesome because no one wants to offend Native Americans
Ducks aren't going to win because Anaheim is the Tampa of the west.

So there you have it Hawks Rangers final. Boom.

Hawks Win cos the East just sucks.

I'm pulling for a Tampa vs Chicago final. My old college roommate has some connection with Tampa he said he can take me to every game if I want. I've never been to a playoff game, never mind a final. However I think the extended time off is going to hurt the Hawks.

I take it you're a butt hurt ducks fan? I'm no fan of chicago, but they're the best team by a landslide. Chicago vs NY will appeal to the most viewers. If you think anyone can stop the hawks then you're in denial of how good they are, or you're a fan of another team. Ask pk or 34. They're elite hockey minds. They both have Chicago in the finals.

I'm a Ducks fan, and even I can admit the Hawks scare me (and have before). I'm hoping that Anaheim can withstand the barrage of their top 2 lines. I think the Ducks can hang with them better than either the Preds or Wild, but I'm not confident in a win. It's pretty much the two teams I saw being a real threat in the West.

But to act like Chicago is just going to roll through them is pretty much the opposite of the "butt hurt Ducks fan" comment. They're not exactly an easy out for the Hawks. They're huge, they can skate, and they can forecheck like a beast. But as they showed in the regular season, that doesn't worry the Hawks much.

Either of these series could go either way.

I have it at 51% chance Hawks and 50.5 % chance Lightning.

Definitely. Hawks-Ducks first two lines are heavy loaded, so the series will come down to special teams and a hero from the other two plumbers' line. CHI have a bit more speed and with Crawford back in his old form, I have them advancing but this won't be an easy series.

The experience of the Rangers should put them back in the finals, even though Stamkos is heating up but the key guy for the Bolts has been Nikita Kucherov. King Lundqvist should outplay B. Bishop.

Right---I was just stunned at the "best team by a landslide" comment, in the same sentence as butt hurt Ducks fan. Pretty silly.
