That's the first i've heard of the game. I went to Steam and it has a Fallout 2 look and feel to it. I'll wait for the reviews but i'm sorta interested in it.

Oh $hit! Forgot about this. I just don't have the time or energy for this right now. lol Need a little mindless diversion after Divinity. Couldn't they have held this out for a month or two? :)

It's made by the developers and writer of Fall Out. It was a Kick Starter 2 years ago and it is finally out. If you liked those games you will love this game. I'll stream the first 30-60 minutes tonight and plop it on my YT channel so you can see what it is like if you want.

I'd love to see that livestream or YT video, Dan. I have almost pulled the trigger on it 3 or 4 times, but Divinity scared me. I may not be cut out to play these games anymore

I'll drop a line here when I go live, and then I will save the Twitch to my YT channel. I wouldn't let Divinity scare you off this title, it's not as harsh and I think it would be right up your alley but might as well hold off another day and see if you like it.

That was really helpful--I never would have bought this after my Divinity: OS experience, but after watching that, I did. You're right, it's definitely right up my alley--thanks!

HAHA.. it was probably the first game I really played late into many nights until it was finished, and I still wanted more. There was a place at the mall that sold games (I forget the name), I loved that place, going in there to see if a new game was on the shelf yet. :)

As a back they gave us the original Wasteland on Steam, I would assume it is for sale on there as well.

Yes it came with the Wasteland 2 but for me, it's something I just can't bring myself to play again. I have a fond memory of that game and I'm ready to put my time into the sequel.

Saw this has been released for consoles. How did those of you who played it on PC like it? I am tempted but also not sure if I want to drop $40 for this so close to Fallout 4. On the other hand, I loved XCOM so much that I'm intrigued by the small squad tactical side.

Honestly with all the great RPG's that have come out in the past 16 months this one sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. If you like the combat aspects of X-com you will love this game. The new Director's cut has me playing it again and that is what you get on the consoles.

It has an old school feel, for example you don't just get an arrow pointing to a quest location. Some of them are a bit obscure but I really liked this game a lot.

Loving this game. So glad I bought it. Like having the tactical fun of XCom in a Fallout game. Plus I love that it is pretty unforgiving. The occasionally wonky camera and sometimes cumbersome inventory system are the only minor complaints I have.
