Why are my claimed Forza Rewards credits not showing up in my account in Forza 5, even days after I claim them?

Appreciate any help.

Did you go to the messages and and click on them in the game?

Also, is the best way to do this to just go the the Rivals sorted by Class and post times there? I'm assuming that's the way we are doing the season. It works for me because my times are bad enough that it will be easy to post better times each month for each class, I assume. But what if our fastest lap is from prior?

And DC, thanks for getting me to load this game up again. This is a perfect way to really appreciate what Forza proper does so well.

More like stupidity issues. I saw the messages indicating credits in my Inbox; I didn't realize I needed to press the A button to download those credits into my account.

DOH!

Initial thoughts are that if I live to be 500, I'll still never get round an entire lap of Sebring without messing up something, somewhere. I need to run laps for classes B, C and D but I've made a start on the others. Thanks as always, Don - I love these little events of yours.

Aristo, that's the best way to do it if you own a car for each class, or if you can afford to buy a car for any classes that aren't currently represented in your garage.

If that's not the case - for example, if you want to run a lap in Class X but don't have 2 million credits to buy an F1 car - there's an alternative way. You can go to Free Play mode and "rent" a car of your choice, then pick Sebring Full as your track, go to the Race Options and set the number of AI cars to 0. You won't score any XP but your best laps still get counted on the leaderboard. If your best lap ends up being one you set last year, that still counts too.

Thank, GB.

I think I will have enough credits to buy anything I need. Forza Rewards has been kind.

I'm still lining up for last place in every class I have put up times in though.

I am guessing that rewind is not allowed? So far I have not been able to post a winning rivals lap without al least one rewind.
And where does it say you ran a clean lap? If one tire goes off track is that a fail?

The track can vary the "clean lap" limits. At Sebring I think there's a spot where it looks like the track is safe coming off that last turn, but get too wide and it counts it as dirty.

Normally if you get more than half the car off the track, it's not clean.

Also, if you rewind, it's not clean. So that in itself answers your question. You could post the lap with a rewind, but it won't count as clean anyway. Also, if you have a dirty lap in the last couple of corners, it usually invalidates the NEXT lap, too. So you have to play it a little cautiously near the end of laps.

I haven't had Forza 5 installed in a while, but I may need to re-download it.

What I have been doing to at least get a clean lap posted is take that first lap slower than normal since you don't get a running start anyway and then once that is done I'll run a few more laps to beat my time until I'm convinced or frustrated enough that I can't get a faster clean lap. If you're not first you're last anyway!

You will get the flashing Triangle exclamation point thing by your time as soon as it thinks you have pinched too much then your screwed for the whole rest of the lap
It can get frustrating especially when your chasing Cough Adam or Don cough and the worst is as Terry said if you mess up the last corner enough it will cost you the next lap, thats got to be the worst thing apart from trying to get grip from a rear wheel drive car that is. :D :D

If an exclamation point in a triangle appears next to your lap time in the HUD during the lap, it's not clean. Rewinds are not allowed.

Allowing only clean laps is the BEST way to improve your driving. Nothing breeds smooth and steady any better.

In my early laps with the lower classes, with full circles on all three assists, I'm struggling to even get close to the pack. It feels like I will need to loosen the assets to gain more control over my speed and breaking in and out of corners in order to post better times.

Today I decided to give and X-class lap a try. The Lotus was a hell of a lot of fun to drive because you could take turns with so much speed. The result here was different than the lower classes. I had the best time by five seconds or so over DC. Of course, he had no assist, so my time feels pretty cheap.

How does the game handle new times, but with fewer assists?

It doesnt where we are concerned really , you would game more xp points in career with less assists which is why im not concerned with the 107 % thing because all the top guys use traction control.
Im basing my runs on guys with similar assists and so far im getting my ass kicked.

I use no assists other than auto tranny. I know manual is faster, but my coordination skills -- which never were top-shelf -- are aging as I reach my golden year this May. :)

Here is a update on the DSP 12 Hours of Sebring Mechberg Rank Rivals Challenge. Some pretty good lap times being posted so far. Keep em coming!

PS - Why in this day and age of next-gen and VR can't we get an online web-based real time stats and leaderboard functions for games like this. Turn 10 does have one for Forza 5, but it is really clunky, and does not even show the same information that the in game leaderboards show. At least it is easier to get screenshots than it used to be, although I still wish Microsoft would just actually implement a Screenshot/Capture functionality to the One.
